    as always, whichever model goes sideways before the event starts showing a looming bust, just go with that one. Changes from storm to storm as to which will call the bust correctly, but one always does.

    Closing in on 2 inches, I refuse to look at radar during these events so I can pretend it will go on like this forever...but we will need it a few more hours in any event to get to 4". Probably gonna miss verifying warning level again for Monkton area but it is really pretty.

    Just hit an inch, but considering I was at .2 around 2:45 - I am at an inch an hour rates at the moment. If I can hold this for a few hours could still make four inches maybe. Gorgeous here now. Been waiting a long time for this.

    This obs could be forever pinned for me, lol. I am moving to Hunt Valley on or about March 1, maybe being 14 miles south of you as opposed to 7 will remove my apparent curse from upon your lands...

    Confirm mappy's obs. It's pretty here but it is not piling up. I am .2" about 7 miles to just south and east of her.

    Just walked in the falling snow w/ the pups. Pretty out. Just .2" so far but accumulating on road surfaces now. Will be happy to get a few inches if we can manage that before the artic push this week.

    Finally started snowing again in Monkon. We shall see if this is the good stuff finally. Starting from 0" from the spotty morning stuff/rain.

    Flipped to snow/white rain about 10:50 am here in Monkton. Took an hour to move from drizzle/rain to snow. Now to see when it gets cold enough to accumulate.

    It's even as close as one mile west - transition line was piney hill rd and monkton rd. Should be soon now I hope.

    Still holding to rain at my place. It's close I guess looking at mappy's photo, it just takes a shockingly long time to get the seven miles or so to my place in these set-ups.

    Yeah, just drove over to graul’s in Hereford to hit the pharmacy by there and it is 35 and more snow than rain. That’s about four miles west of me - so I guess I need to few more degrees to drop off at my place and at least can start the white rain process.

    Just drizzle here - probably seeing my dream of first verified warming level snow since 2019 for me slip away again.

    Congrats to all my Washington fan peeps. Trust me , as a long-suffering bengals fan who had a similar bolt of football genius arrive with Burrow and the breakthrough year of 2021 when they ended a 31-year playoff win drought and then made a run to the Super Bowl, I get it. Really really happy for you guys. This falls under iykyk territory among fan bases. And I know. Savor every good feeling.
