CTP : SYNOPSIS... * The first widespread plowable snowfall of the season will cause travel impacts and disruptions early Tuesday * Arctic cold front will deliver snow showers/squalls and bitter cold temperatures Thursday through Friday morning * Reinforcing cold blast will ensure the first part of December will be colder than the historical average with the potential for another storm system this weekend or early next week

The 18z GFS says hello!

I’ll be sleeping because it is not supposed to start until closer to 6 am, Lol!

I like this CTP call for most of the region, but I think a few lucky spots could get closer to 5 depending on where the heaviest bands set up.

NAMs finally at 6z jumped on board for most of us & the GFS held serve too.

0z GFS holds serve & delivers Warning snow to most of us again for Tuesday.

I’d sign for that to get on the official board for the season.

I also gassed up my snowblower and started it up. Ready for whatever this week brings!

18z GFS still looking good for Tuesday for Warning snow potential for the vast majority of the Susquehanna Valley.

The Friday night into Saturday am potential event is still there on the 12z GFS & Canadian.

12z RGEM is looking good as well.

12z GFS brings Warning level snow to most of the Susquehanna Valley on Tuesday.

0z GFS says we might have Another event to track next Friday. This second late week chance looks to be gaining traction on recent model runs.

Great GFS run for CTP. Warning snow potential gets down to Lancaster & York as well this run.

Looks like @Voyager would be near the bullseye if this verifies.

Snow will certainly be sticking to all surfaces if the rates on the 18z GFS end up close to reality. Great run for most of CTP.

In @canderson Heat Island of downtown Harrisburg, I’ve heard him claim snow is not sticking, even though 99% of roads in the area have caved, lol!

Sun angle is not an issue in early December.
