    It’s far from just me that is just looking forward to this upcoming pattern. Check out the Mid Atlantic thread & most respectable pro Mets across the weather business… There is a lot of great potential with this upcoming pattern. Check out every ensemble & teleconnection. We are talking about week 2 & not several weeks down the road. Yes, we can’t shovel potential, but if this look doesn’t get a Winter weather enthusiast excited, then nothing will.

    If I could get out of D1 & have MDT reach a yearly surplus…. All while tracking Winter storms for the first full week of January… Oh what a happy New Year it would be…Lol!

    The 0z global ensemble snow maps are starting to respond to the potential for the January 5th to 12th period. One of the simple trends that I look for is to see how far south the “blue” reaches on these maps. It’s good to see the expansion of the blue with the overnight runs.
