  1. I like seeing the radar lit up nicely in most of WV that should make its way here later today.
  2. The last couple of runs of the HRRR have been a little more generous with I-81 snow later today.
  3. Good morning, yes, I agree on all points. It seems like CTP has a rookie at the overnight desk with just references to the NBM, ensemble mean & WPC QPF, with not much detail. Hopefully CTP’s day shift provides more insight later on for the first widespread event for the vast majority of their territory.
  4. The southern tier crew should root on the short range high Canadian herpaderp, which went wild at 6z
  5. The 6z Euro & 6z ICON are 2 models that improved with snow amounts near Harrisburg & I-81.
  6. The 6z NAMs are surprisingly not very supportive of snow today for the Harrisburg area. Most other models actually improved with snow amounts.
  7. There is already precip in Central OH according to radar, so we should have cloud cover by the am.
  8. I wonder if these 0z runs will give CTP enough confidence to add Cumberland, Dauphin & Lebanon to the Advisory?
  9. The 0z GFS had its best run yet for tomorrow. First GFS run to get Harrisburg in the “blue” on the snow map.
  10. 0z ICON had its best run yet for the Harrisburg area.
  11. The 0z RGEM is steady as she goes for tomorrow’s event.
  12. 18z RGEM still is looking good for the Harrisburg area on to the north & west.
  13. Yes indeed, from one Advised poster to another, Lol!
  14. The GFS improved slightly over its earlier runs today.
  15. We really need a sarcasm font on this website. I have no idea how anyone would get worked up over a passing remark in jest.
  16. I am also just messing around with everyone. We have a trackable short term minor event. Let’s go!
  17. CTP mentioned the possibility of expanding the Advisory slightly further south in later shifts if necessary.
  18. If it doesn’t happen in Lancaster… Geographically speaking, this is a widespread CTP event. We have many posters across CTP.
  19. It looks like MDT barely made it above freezing today. It felt like mid Winter out there today running in & out of stores.
  20. I go Christmas shopping for the afternoon & no one bothers to post a WWA for most of CTP…
