    6z GFS is trying for a little light snow for us on Friday as well.

    Timing is everything for sure. We are overdue for some good breaks.

    Precip looks to be near normal for the first 3 weeks of January. If a good percentage of that is snow, we would be in good shape. If somehow it would be all snow, we would be ahead of the game.

    The latest Euro Weeklies today show a workable pattern developing by the beginning of January. This run shows the first 3 weeks of next month should at least give us chances.

    ALEET ! For some reason during my lunch break, I decided to take another look at CTP’s daily climate summary. Much to my surprise, they revised it this morning! MDT is officially on the board with .8 of snow yesterday.

    That’s ridiculous, especially with the snow that MDT received in the 11 pm hour. I thought that they would record a few tenths of snow on the .16 of precip. Maybe @Coop_Mason or someone can make an inquiry with CTP?

    MDT had .16 of precip today with most of it falling as snow. Let’s see how much snow they record for the day?

    MDT had .09 of precip as snow between 11 pm & 12 am with temp dropping to 32 at peak intensity.

    Lol, thanks, I’m watching MDT like a hawk. They are getting crushed with snow this hour. MDT has a chance of recording at least their first inch of the year. We’ll see what they put on the books in a few hours.

    The heavy band has arrived to Marysville with large flakes & rate is picking up.

    It looks like one more band of snow is approaching your area now. I’m staying up a little while longer to see if this band pads the stats.

    There’s going to be some great potential playoff matchups in both conferences next month. I’m hoping that the Eagles can earn the bye & make the NFC come through Philly. The Steelers are going to be a tough out in the AFC. Their defense is so physical. I wouldn’t want to play them next month.
