  7. So, the Euro was the next to cave to GFS. Torchy on the 25-26th. Not only there are talks of writing off the remainder of this month, but also next month. #SpringisComing Into the long range, CVG will certainly be escaping January still with single-digit snowfall totals. CVG's last single-digit snowfall season was 2011-12.
  8. So much for the Polar Vortex. This Chas guy apparently has his opinion about next month.
  9. GDPS, as well. GFS, on the other hand: If Friday night/Saturday morning doesn't come to fruition, we may very well have to wait until at least sometime next month for low temps below 20 degrees. This tweet from BAMWX doesn't sound good.
  10. Sounds like Covid cancelled Winter this year.
  11. DAY's snowfall today was 1.4 inches, the highest daily snowfall of this month like last month. All of it has since melted earlier tonight. It looks to be the highest daily snowfall amount for this month. Snowfall total for this month is now 2.2 inches, meaning DAY has now escaped the top 10 least snowiest Januaries on record this year. Current snowfall total for the 2020-21 season is now 8.7 inches. Meanwhile, CVG is currently tied with 1919 for the least snowiest January on record with a total of only 0.2 inches while CMH is currently tied with 1989 for the 7th least snowiest January on record with a total of only 0.6 inches. 12. This coming Saturday will mark one month since DAY and CVG's previous 1+" snowfall. While CVG had one night with temps dipping down to the teens so far this month, DAY and CMH have yet to have a night when temps dip down to at least the teens. Only one time that DAY and CMH both failed to dip into the teens the entire January was back in January 2006.
  13. Certainly a harbinger of what's coming for the remainder of this month as a whole.
  14. Dipped down to 20 degrees this morning, the coldest low so far this month. Gut feeling we may be writing off January soon. Still very little snowfall through this month and no lows in the teens or below.
