  1. that was a hell of a year, from straight rat to #1 for BOS all time. talk about a back loaded winter 150.8 at Blue Hill SNE Seasonal Snowfall
  2. that makes sense, and thats why mobile sucks, watered down experience...but it's necessary sometimes. we've had this conversation before about 3 or 4 years ago pc vs. phone users
  3. since youre off, maybe its time to update that sig, winter 18-19 is a little out of date
  4. Nope and thats where we blew the forecast pretty hard. i had 1-2/2-4 in areas that picked up over 6. Everywhere else the forecast did pretty well though
  5. The 9" is Barre Falls Dam COOP which is in the northeast corner of Barre. 12" is westminster from Cocorahs. and 7.1" is also cocorahs, Gardner 1.4 SSW. I'd include more reports from people here but unfortunately we no longer have the New England Snow page from Kevin so there's very few from here unless i know before hand what they are.
  6. doesnt fit, got 1.7" already in killingly from cocorahs so youll have to settle for that lmao updated
  7. oh i put you at 3.5" just based on my quick thinking from last storm you said 1 and the previous 2.5, so i got 3.5 but i can quickly fix that. I have a town overlay so i put everyone in the middle of the town unless i know exactly where they are. ill change it to 3.8
  8. First season to date snowfall maps. This is as of December 17th, 2025. Reports are from cocorahs, COOP, and official climo sites. Contours are based on these reports and NOHRSC Gridded Snowfall Analysis. These are by far the hardest maps to put together so ill be doing them monthly similar to last season. Updated**
  9. First season to date snowfall maps. This is as of December 17th, 2025. Reports are from cocorahs, COOP, and official climo sites. 10. Snowfall totals from the Dec 12th event are done and up on the site along with all the events so far for the 25-26 season. I changed the ranges to 0-1/1-3/3-6/6+ to be more for fitting for the variety and location of reports. Reports are from here, cocorahs, coop and official climo sites. Thanks to everyone who sent a report to me. https://www.jdjweatherconsulting.com/sne-25-26
  11. Snowfall totals from the Dec 12th event are done and up on the site along with all the events so far for the 25-26 season. I changed the ranges to 0-1/1-3/3-6/6-9 to be more for fitting for the variety and location of reports. Reports are from here, cocorahs, coop and official climo sites. Thanks to everyone who sent a report to me. I always include the climo sites, i saw the controversy with the NYC ob. It seems ISP is suspiciously low as well as all the reports in every direction are in the 6-8" range. https://www.jdjweatherconsulting.com/tri-state-25-26
  12. Yeah, it's a pain and it's always hard to know for sure but some are pretty obvious. I'm just about done, nearly 1k reports across all 3 maps, about 6 hours deep so far. I should have them up within the hour.
  13. What in the world is that 9.7" in Monmouth county? I didn't see anything over 9" anywhere in cocorahs coop or the PNS by PHI.
  14. Same that's why i recorded 2.9 here because that's exactly what it was. I'd love to say 3" and call it a day. Almost everyone at my latitude broke 3" or more except probably New London county. I have a nice ruler that's divided in 1/10ths of inch for measuring snow. If I'm going to be making all these snowfall maps and determining which reports are valid and which ones are not, i should be holding myself to a high standard.
  15. thank you i knew that report was bogus and inflated. I took it out of the final map im working on
  16. Tri-State snowfall map is going up tomorrow if anyone has any totals from NJ/NY that they want included let me know @IrishRob17 @psv88. Probably do a season to date map this week as well so lmk your seasonal snowfall total to date.
  17. This is a preliminary first pass snowfall totals for CT. Once i get the totals from cocorahs/coop today ill update the map and be doing a full SNE one and Tri-State. I tried to include all the reports from here as well as filter out all the old reports. If anyone has any corrections, concerns or violent reactions let me know and ill take a look into it. There were a lot of reports from the same town or very close to each other so i had to leave some out. Thanks to everyone who sent me a report. I might change the ranges from 0-1/1-2/2-4/4-6 to 0-1/1-3/3-6 for the final map to make things a little easier and because there are a lot of 2"+ reports mixed in around the 1-2" reports. This is also the second 3"+ event of the season so it will make it into the WS Archive with radar/sfc/h5/snowfall maps when they come available. BDR-4.5, BDL-1.4, ORH-1.6, PVD-1.6, BOS-1.3 The forecast overall was pretty good albeit a little conservative. I'll give it a B+. We did highlight the possibility of 4"+ on the extreme S coast so that worked out well. All of the southern 4 counties verified advisory level snow with generally 3-6" and 1-3" mainly for the northern 4 counties. Lowest report was E. Hartland at 0.8" and the highest 5.5" in Norwalk. @Sey-Mour Snow
  18. Most of the southern 4 counties of CT will be falling in the 2-4" range and 1-2 north of there. Keep in mind a lot of these reports aren't final so theyll be higher than this. this approximates the 2-5" line in CT. ill know tommorrow morning after i get cocorahs reports, coop and NWS PNS releases. Where i drew the line is pretty close to actuality but just tilted a bit more flat and then goes up through nrn fairfield cty.
  19. Here's a link to the interactive snowfall map that NWS puts out taken from all different sources. https://www.weather.gov/source/crh/snowmap.html These get updated as time goes on so some reports are old and new ones still rolling in. Ill have the 3 maps for SNE/Tri-State/CT in probably a day or so. Unfortunately the timing of this system is such that reports from cocorahs after 7AM today wont be available until after 7AM tomorrow. Ill probably do a first pass for CT as soon as i can. If anyone has reports from SNE let me know by tagging me or you can PM me and ill include them (final reports). This will be the 2nd 3"+ event of the season so it will make it into the archive, eventually
  20. from that one storm? seems high, Norfolk at 1,340 had 2.3" which was the highest report i could find. I bet some of that snowpack was from 12/2, that snow never melted going into the December 10th storm. It's been frigid especially up there in higher elevations
  21. nice thanks and where abouts in burlington, on the harwinton line?
  22. did you get anything on 12/10? im trying to do a map for that and i only have a handful of reports of 1-2.3 in Litchfield. Mostly trace on bordering Burlington towns but id figure id ask.
