  1. It went over the BM, it was the speed of movement that halted really insane totals. E MA only got a bit more than we did, 14-18 vs 10-14 over CT. But it was pretty close, great track, just was flying. you can see the sfc/h5 maps on my site if you click the link above. upper levels didn't close off early like this system is progged atm.
  2. Looks like Jan 2018. That was also at nearly the exact same position at this time lead on most models. https://www.jdjweatherconsulting.com/jan-4-2018
  3. good enough, it went in the right direction and at this time lead with GFS, thats all that matters
  4. no lol, if you reported 20 and were just at 19 when the radar looks like that. i just meant its basically done
  5. thats fine wont be doing anything until at least tomorrow afternoon
  6. based on the radar returns i would seriously question that, its virtually done
  7. This storm rules. Despite not being anywhere near jack or max, it'll probably end up in my top 5 storms of all time easily.
  8. 24.7" Sterling, MA 23.6" Milton, MA That gives a lot of credence to the earlier 21.4" Blue Hill ob...however that could be a reporting error and they meant to update the Blue Hill ob and just posted it as NE Milton. Not sure yet. Probably will see some 25-27" totals tomorrow morning
  9. poor Billerica getting pounded, must be tough for him right now, been real quiet lately..sending thoughts and prayers
  10. yea once i heard the sleet mixing in so early, i think it was around 4PM, i was like oh boy here we go a changeover happening shortly and im gonna be stuck at like 10. but then it washed out and we snowed for several more hours with occasional sleet and rimmed flakes mixing and out. And we never fully changed over until about the end around 9PM when it was getting very close to the end. I dont think ive seen that happen before where the sleet line didnt just blow through with a clean changeover and we washed out like that.
  11. Should be some 24" amounts showing up in NE MA after today's light snow? I hope so, at least
  12. 14.1" matches up well. you satisified with this one now? One of the best storms we've ever had imo. Full daytime, 2"/hr rates, 6-7F for most of it, didn't bust. Definitely my favorites since Feb 2021.
  13. I made a thread specifically for everyone to submit their final storm totals for this event w/ all the resources to find reports for the northeast. I'll also post the maps their when finished.
