    Oh no i totally agree with you and dendrite. If you seen some of my posts from yesterday I said I expect to see 15-18" totals since some of those were from mid morning 9am to noon. Just the fact there was only one gave me some pause and the other Beverly report that was less by 3". But i do believe it, just expected more of them. I can only fit one, so i have to choose what to include.

    whats your thoughts on the 16.2 in beverly? legit? im debating whether or not to include it in. There is also a 13.6" report in SW beverly which seems to be a bit more realistic and whats in line with surrounding totals. But i still can see 16.2 being possible right in the sweet spot

    Preliminary snowfall totals for CT. I'll have all the final maps for CT/SNE/Tri-State done by tomorrow morning ish. May end up needing to change the ranges well see. Highest CT report is 4SW Voluntown @ 10.8"

    Some new high reports coming out of Essex county now that the 2nd day of cocorahs is rolling out. Another two hours and i can get it all on ACIS2 Beverly 16.2 Beverly 13.6 Hamilton 13

    QPF is also off...nearly 40:1 ratios. i figure bad catch again from the winds yesterday, shame they don't fix that. ORH is more reasonable 5.2/0.31 17:1

    @ORH_wxman @CoastalWx So did Logan get 5.2 or 5.4? Their PNS and ob on the interactive map says 5.2 but they recorded 0.2 on the 6th before midnight and Feb 7th says 5.2. One of them is an error I'm gonna go with 5.4 since thats what's in the record books

    Side note: man 15-16 was absolutely abysmal for you 33.4? I got more snow than you with close to 40. That probably never happened before and wont happen again. Actually was a pretty decent winter here. Solid 3 week stretch and two double digit storms, one was a blizzard.

    Brutal cold right down to the shoreline. Not often you see BDR HVN and GON approach 0. Wind chills 13 to 22 below @ 7AM

    Feb 2023 The one real cold shot we had that entire winter. The difference that time it was all brown. Completely snowless. January didn't even make it below the 20s the entire month. Horrific winter.

    I don't know why there's no new reports from Essex. That Hamilton 13" report is from 9AM. I'd imagine there's gotta be some reports close to 18 for a final around S/SE Essex County

    Quite a snowstorm in New London and Windham counties today. Surprise for most public I'm sure

    Some of those will go up since cocorahs reports 24 hour snowfall from 7AM-7AM The spotter reports and COOP that's late morning and early afternoon are likely final though Will know more tomorrow

    I'll have a map tomorrow night into early Monday when cocorahs and coop come out tomorrow. Should be a gradient from 0-1 to 8-12 across CT. A lot of places in far SWCT didn't crack an inch BDR-1 BDL-1.3 Probably 12-18 in E Essex I'd imagine. What was your final 1.7?

    There wasn't even a single advisory up for CT let alone warnings. BOX map was like 1-3. Far E SE CT got 8-11 maybe 12 that's a massive bust. Most of CT west of the river did fine with 1-4 and even less near the NY boarder. I'm speaking for the general forecasts I saw out there and what the nws was going for CT, not you.

    well that was certainly another positive bust/over performer for the season. yet another one. deep winter out there if anyone has any snowfall totals from this event, that are FINAL, let me know. doing a map for this should certainly be interesting and fun. Going to be the 10th 3"+ event of the season.

    1.5" should be mostly done well see if we can get a little more this afternoon. Right in the middle of my range of 1-2 so im happy with that

    here comes a foot+ for them i dont know why they went so low with the warning with 4-8. the whole map is low. And i think that was the latest Watch i've ever seen. Essex was still under a watch when snow was well underway for a few hours.
