  1. It could be. I'm pretty good at Photoshop and i didn't notice anything really weird. It's a GIF file meaning multiple still images in sequence to give the illusion of a short video. Nothing really stands out to me but It def could be shopped.
  2. That's insane. Doesn't even really look like much of a drift. 80" snow pack? wow.
  3. Remembering the blizzard of 2016. One of my favorite all time storms. Awesome radar loop.
  4. I mean if you're gonna melt, might as well go all the way.
  5. This is the worst winter since 01-02. And it may end that way. F this winter. Id take 06-07 or 11-12 any day over this shit. AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  6. Dee-Dee is a common short for Deidre or phonetically prononuced as you said Dea-Dra Mega Doo Doo may have come from a slip of the tongue from duty and the final part of her name doht, or she just stuttered and said do, and then do again. Or someone on the teleprompter royally messed up or trolled her with the the prompter. Impossible to tell. We'll never know i guess. Either way, it's hilarious DEE DEE....MEGA DOO DOO I'm sor..... Poor Dee Dee Mega Doo Doo, she died twice. RIP.
  7. Nah we close for dry roads and flurries. Wet roads is at least a two day-er.
  8. Final totals in CT for this historic KU. Thank you to everyone who submitted their totals. One for the record books as they say. Not a hard forecast. Ranges were spot on. Missed the slight saggy elevation aspect. Grade: A
  9. Could be the first winter since 01-02 for no warning event (~6"+ avg) for the southern 4 counties of CT. We'll see.
  10. Obs thread? 40 and Moderate Rain. Best. Winter. Ever.

  12. Well, why not? RIP Winter 19-20
  13. What was summer 09 like? I forget. Generally dont have a good memory about summer warmth or lack thereof. 99% of my brain is filled with all winter weather events dating back to 2000.
  14. As far as the NWS forecasts go, no. Since they are in the 1-3 range for Northern & Southern Litchfield Counties. And personally my opinion no as well. Some areas may see up to 2" in far NW CT.
  15. Yeah it looks like the advisories are only there in places simply for the mention of freezing rain. Criteria for zr is a trace or greater. No one is making advisory criteria for snowfall in CT.
  16. I replied right after Kevin but you snuck one in there. so to answer your question, no.
  17. you're probably good for +/- an inch for the thurs event. But it all gets washed away anyways.
  18. Caption this. NWS issues first ever Toaster Bath Warning for areas south of this line. Edit: Looking at this 6 hours later, that line is actually a pretty decent straight line representation of Toaster Bath vs. Decent-Good Snowfall.
  19. That’s not just drugs that’s pure right off the boat Columbian cocaine
  20. Beautiful shots from Stratton today. Probably be pretty difficult to ski in that though.
  21. If you ever want to go back and look at any NWS products from any FO for the past 25 or so years you can find them here. https://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/wx/afos/list.phtml
  22. They definitely should increase it to .75 or even 1.00 because it seems radial ice is about 50% maybe up to 60 or 70% of that of flat ice measurements. .5 is the threshold for the majority of the Northeast. Which would translate to around .3 for branches.
