  1. Light snow 24F, coating. epic. bout what i expected here.
  2. I can see danbury pulling 4-6 out of this with a sharp cut off East down to a trace/coating near Meriden. I'm pretty much screwed here but was never expecting anything more than a whitening on non paved. I've seen stranger things happen so im never going to write it off completely.
  3. NW hills lookin' pretty good, gonna be snowin there soon or at least frozen to star any meaningful precip
  4. you're a lock for another 4-5er for the season. Id be shocked if you only got 2.5. Far NW and 1KFT
  5. We're very happy with the way this one turned out with regards to the forecast and impact. A late season elevation event that mainly impacted the hills and inland Connecticut. The forecast range of 2-5" was perfect for the hills/inland with a coating to 2" for the shore and S/SE CT. Towns in northern hartford county were able to accumulate higher than we expected despite not having the elevation. The latitude and rates overcame that factor there. We also were a bit high for S/SE CT, even inland. Overall with the forecast difficulty and the way everything turned out i think it was one of the better forecasts this season. Thanks for all the reports, ill have an update to the STD snowfall tomorrow. Final Grade: B+
  6. 0.5" final, exactly what i expected here in death valley. Thanks for all the reports. I'm working on an updated season to date snowfall map. Im missing a few reports from this storm from @Cold Miser@JC-CT@metagraphica@WxWatcher007@RUNNAWAYICEBERG and if anyone else has season to date reports from the litchfield hills or SE/shoreline maybe @Mr. Windcredible!or @FXWX @tavwtbyi have you at 34.8 and @Thunderblizzard35.4, everyone else that updated 2021-2022 New England Snow i got you, thanks!
  7. Was browsing the CT traffic cams and noticed this at the top. Car versus Pole in Tolland wonder if the pole won?
  8. its ok, i forecasted & expected it. Think our map will end up doing pretty damn well overall. New Haven and the immediate shore is almost at a trace.
  9. told ya. your area was never questionable. Elevation near 1k and well inland. 0.5" of clear slush is the final here very light non accumulating white rain atm.
  10. FYI the NWS brought back the classic radar (local WSR88D and regional) for low bandwidth. The resolution isn't as good as it used to be but it is significantly more functional and usable than that absolute abortion they released at the end of 2020. For those that don't have weathertap or radarscope or other paid services. NWS Local Standard Radar (weather.gov) NWS Standard Radar Mosaics (weather.gov)
  11. nice congrats, i bet you were expecting next to nothing.
  12. Long Island which is about 15-20 miles south of the CT shoreline picked up 1-2". Thats pretty impressive for a non-CT location that is due south of CT Not too many reports thus far though
  13. No mention of downeast ME, god you're so location centric
  14. I dont know what this ratio snow ends being but i bet its pretty close to 1:1. We got about .2-.3" so far and about the same amount is LE Clear slush
  15. The hills of at least New Haven and Fairfield should pull 2-4 maybe 5. I cant even buy an inch here. Radar and OBS update for CT
