  1. From May 9th to October 30th. Pretty short season it's been for some.
  2. OKX and BOX wants no parts of it, not really surprising though. All rain for most of CT outside of NW hills (ALY FA)
  3. NYC too, i do remember the entire OKX CWA was under a warning and NYC only picked up 1-3" when they were supposed to get 6-10" and thunder snow...
  4. I wasnt around for the 2011 event, so i have no reality or model data about it, but how does it compare to this storm? Was the airmass colder? How were the models at this range for SNE? Was it showing mainly rain and then got colder as we got closer or did it look like a major blizzard even down to the coast 72-96hrs out?
  5. nobody believes you, but nice try
  6. Can we please call this the Zon of Zeta? homage to Son of Sandy
  7. how does it feel to be the one and only human on earth to favor the UKMET?
  8. Yeah its dumb. You can find just as many early season (not necessasarily extreme late October) events that results in a average - great winter. Nov 2002 Nov 2005 Nov 2012 Nov 2014 And how many October events that had plowable snow on LI were there? Like 1? Oct 2011, thats about it.
  9. Watches up by PM for all of CT. Warnings tomorrow. I can hear the salting trucks already prepping.
  10. I dont have Zoom but im sure i can DL it, id be in
  11. (New NWS Radar coming Dec 8th 2020) They can't be serious with this radar. Wtf is this? The radar doesnt fully load no matter how long i wait The play button doesnt do anything, no loop And you cant distinguish between dbz intensity very clearly. holy hell, this has got to be a joke, or it needs to be like 100% redone or fixed
  12. Part 1 totals (right) Total totals (left) Forecast (bottom)
  13. Yeah i should have said for the southern part of new england or ALL of southern new england. Southern CT, southern RI and SE MA only received advisory snows.
  14. i mean its only been 2 seasons so far, i wouldnt call that a stretch until we have this one and the next one in the books
  15. That was the last real snow storm we had here in southern new england. The last warning event that is.
  16. 0 (FX 0) 11.3 (FX 8-16") 3.8 (FX 6-12") 2.2 (FX 8-16") April 1st storm 6.3" (FX 3-5") Apirl 6th storm 0.7" (FX N/A)
  17. Yeah that was fun 4 nor’easters each exactly a week apart. mar 1- inland elevated event rain at the coast and low elevations. mar 7/8- major snowstorm for most of New England 1-2 ft for a lot. mar 13- major snowstorm East New England bust for central areas and west. mar 21st- huge bust for southern New England nyc and li crushed with 1-2ft.
  18. Ooof thats frustrating, i thought 8.5" in a 24-36" forecast (15-30" NBC on the conseravitive/more realistic side) but 1.5" on 12-16 is worse. At least i hade plowable low end warning snow. I really wanted to experience my first 2 to 3 footer but alas it still eludes me to this day.
