  1. I started a separate obs thread since this is the first widespread warning event for pretty much everyone this season.
  2. Since this is a rather large event and the biggest of the season likely for most, i figured i'd start a seperate obs thread. Let me know your totals and location if you want to be in the final snowfall map. Thanks!
  3. BOX bumped up their warning was 4-7 * WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Widespread total snow accumulations between 5 and 9 inches, highest amounts across northern Massachusetts, where there is a low probability (10-20% chance) of 10-12" inches. OKX slight bump too from 5-7 to 5-8
  4. i think its worse than when we were in collegr in the mid/late 2000s. I dont remember it being this bad, but then again that could just be ignorance and rose colored glasses... not having much else to look at besides the GFS and free EC/GEM maps.
  5. https://x.com/ryanhanrahan/status/690647538295296000 (Ryan - Circa Blizzard of 2016)
  6. my bad my bad... yeah there would be like 20 storms bigger than this since 2014. weve had a great run with a lot of 10-18" blizz, especially daytime storms...which this aint it. really hate the night ones but beggers and choosers and all that...
  7. typo, im living in the wrong decade.. and there would be a lot more than just that though lol. i meant 24...just 1 year
  8. Heres our map from yesterday, havent changed it. Probably be the final call unless something shifts significantly overnight
  9. No change, likely final call unless the rug gets pulled overnight or there are some major changes..
  10. or you can just use this https://www.weather.gov/wrh/Climate?wfo=okx
  11. We went 5-10 with better than 10-1 ratios right now . Right now model qpf would support a 5-7 event across CT mostly
  12. Tauntonflizz. No one should be expecting more than a couple inches.
  13. Until the hi-res stuff pulls the plug <24hrs to go and the globals slowly tick back
