  1. More than I expected for sure! 4" overnight, and the snow stake is now up to 32". Still snowing nicely
  2. Haha just posted the same thing to the NNE thread. Beautiful snow tonight, it's like spray paint
  3. 1" so far tonight. 2.75" total for today. Moderate snow. Very cool snow tonight, everything is plastered even the tree trunks
  4. Funny, after a blizzard like day now it's dead calm and moderate snow. Nice snow growth and sticking well with no wind.
  5. Not sure why but still 32 in Bretton Woods. Was expecting much warmer
  6. Took the kids and the dog for a walk at Diana's Baths. Very cool as always. Amazing to see the weather difference between home and the valley. Home was very blizzard like, heavy wind whipping snow everywhere, a snow sleet mix. Reminded me of the Midwest. On the other side of the notch it's a gentle snowfall with no wind whatsoever.
  7. Same here, although I assume I'm also downsloping making it even worse. Occasionally we get some heavier bursts and occasionally it goes to sleet. Accumulations unknown at this point - very windy so nothing on the deck
  8. It doesn't seem like anything exciting. A few inches of snow then some mixed precip. My downslope prone locale might not even see that. Only decent thing seems to be the potential for upslope after the storm but I think only 3 of us on here care about that
  9. Haha yes. Maybe it's part of a new strategy - choose your own weather. No one will ever be unhappy about their forecast again.
  10. @OceanStWx you guys should fix this in the grids. Just doing some QC'ing for you. Sunday Sunday: Snow, possibly mixed with sleet, becoming all snow after 4pm. Sunday Night Sunday night: Rain and snow showers likely, becoming all snow after 8pm.
  11. I'm not good at reading modes but I'm not sure I buy all snow in the mountains based on the current models. At least not in "my mountains"
  12. P&C has all snow here on Sunday. I don't see any models that keep us all snow... Or am I wrong??? Especially with some downsloping
  13. Heavy snow here, looks like about an inch or so
  14. I wish I had it in me to take the dog out lol. She just goes out on her own. I love the snow but hate getting cold - I know, I know. I took her on a long walk a couple of days ago but it was a bit of a pain without snowshoes. When you float you're fine, but you break through quite often and you sink deep, which combined with the back pain I've been having is not fun. Surprised how easy it still is to sink given all the mixes.
  15. That will be me next year. Which probably means we will get all straight snow events or no snow at all
  16. Agree with the changeovers being frustrating. To me they have detracted from an otherwise great winter snowcover wise. I'd rather get 4" of pure snow than 7" of mixed stuff. That's what I love about upslope - never worry about mixing. Tonight's upslope has been very very light so far though.
  17. I hope so! I'm sick of mixed events. Yesterday was perfect. Sure, the depth keeps increasing but untainted events are much more enjoyable
  18. Another head scratching forecast... P&C gives 80% chance of snow over the weekend with no mention of mixing; AFD says: Mixed precipitation will transition to rain in southern New Hampshire and coastal and southern interior Maine. Farther north a mix of sleet and freezing rain will persist through the day...especially in the mountains where significant ice accumulation will be possible. #confused
  19. As good of a winter as we have had, it's nice to see a forecast with no mention of rain. It hasn't happened much.
  20. 4.75" here; probably total unless we get some upslope later. 133.8" for the season to date
