3/4” here. First snow at my new house. It’s definitely a weenie house. I had the electrician put in a bunch of high powered flood lights all around the house and I love it. So awesome to watch the snow fall from the big windows. Sitting in the dining room is like being in a snow globe

That sucks, sorry to hear that. The few days around Halloween seem primed for floods around NNE. 2 years ago was our turn. Glad we escaped with no issue, but I never wish it on anyone. It’s been a wet month for sure, now let’s turn it white! So the first couple of stray flakes today, but not enough to even be called a trace.

Where abouts is your new house? You've got exceptional views up there That view is not from my house, I drove up to the Cog base which is 6 miles up the street or so. My new house is actually on the same land as the old one - it's 32 acres with 2 5-bedroom homes and 2 cabins, right at the entrance to Bretton Woods on the National Forest boundary. By the way, NNE peeps, we are soon going to have a new member posting from my area... Guess who?

Snow around us here as well, level seems to be around 3000 ft. This is looking towards Cherry Mountain from my house.

We’ve had sheet drizzle all day. Very annoying and bone chilling. Ceiling is very low so no idea where the snow is, but looks like freezing level is around 3500 ft or so

Yeah the new restaurant looks awesome. Wont open till next summer though. The gondola is ready to go. Don't particularly care for gondolas except for when it's really cold.

Very nice! Mine are still budding. I posted last week how there were no lupines at the Lupine Festival in Sugar Hill this year. Kinda sad, it's very pictoresque but it was nothing but green lawns this year.

A word of caution. Tried that a few years ago when I first bought my current house and it was a disaster. Granted I live in snowland and my driveway is a quarter of a mile long, but even with weights and chain the JD125 we have would slip and get stuck all the time. Driveway is flat. Then one time we got an inch and a half of sleet and it couldn't do anything to it at all. That was the final straw (and happened on like day 85 of the 90 day return policy). Took it back to Lowes and got a plow.
