I was in Montreal for the day today and it was in the low 70s! Felt weird and unexpected. High of 59 here.

Just got back from a day trip to Montreal and it was interesting to see the difference. Great color from here through the NEK but diminishing rapidly around Jay, then a few areas of color around the mountains in Southern Quebec, and absolutely nothing in Montreal. It was very summery there

What's with this crappy cold rain? I thought it was going to be nice to day! Have to drive to Montreal to pick up my mom from the airport

Lol. I spent it all on this damn house. Sell the house, buy a sensor? Those look cool!
Just ordered the tenths rules. Seems a bit more in my price range

So... it's time to start thinking of snow measuring. One challenge is always the small, daily snow we usually get. Has anybody tried something like this??? Stratus RG202

Wow, the new gondola and summit restaurant dominate BW. I drove by yesterday and took quick glance.
Yeah the new restaurant looks awesome. Wont open till next summer though. The gondola is ready to go. Don't particularly care for gondolas except for when it's really cold.

We managed to eat outside twice in a row. Impressive for September. Getting a bit chilly towards the end as we dropped into the low 60s, but still very enjoyable. I need to get some patio heaters next year to do this more.

32 to 74 here. 42 degree delta.
My corn was ALMOST ready to harvest but it's fried to a crisp. Dammit. Can't grow anything up here. And I started it in a greenhouse so it could go into the ground as soon as the weather allowed in the spring.

It's a warm pattern. We'll get mild downs and maybe sneak in a cool high or a dead ratter with rain and CAD, but overall it's a lot of days well above normal. We'll warm it right back up to well into the 70s late next week. But we're done with 90F up here and the clock will be ticking on the 80s after this weekend.
That sounds fantastic. We are getting a ton of last minute bookings; I think most of the population is pretty stoked about it.

It's absolutely worth it on a clear moonless night. It was an incredible view, but it can get a bit chilly even in the summer.
However if you're in Connecticut, the Adirondacks might be a better bet. Or remote areas of NNE.
You can see it very well here on a clear night (and we are not that far!). My brother lives in Rome where you can’t even see a meteorite coming straight at you and was freaked out the first time he saw the Milky Way lol

Same here. P&C went from 39 to 32 so if it radiates well we may get colder than 2 days ago. We'll see! Plants are inside so no worries there.
Fall Foliage 2019
in New England

I went to the Flume today. Franconia Notch is way behind. That said, I think foliage in Franconia Notch sucks in general. Too many beech trees. It's never that great
