    Nice!

Seems like BW managed to keep things going a lot longer than it appeared they would in the third week of March.

I think PF or JSpin talked about it, but the stuff that's left on the trails at this point is as close to indestructible as snow gets... There are usually patches left into June, well after everything else has melted

What will be widely accepted as fact first? The vaccine “is not effective against new strains which are now more widespread. New Vaccine roll-out needed...new restrictions/restrictions remain in place.” Or “short to long term side effects of an (experimental) vaccine are worse than the direct risks from the virus itself —to low risk/healthy individuals.

    I’ll wait.

Definitely wait. Vaccines are such an unproven medical endeavor. What's next, pills that kill bacteria?

Snow/sleet shower here in Conway. Ugh, what a pit. So glad I didn’t buy down here.

Lol I love Conway as a town and the snow retention is great, but it's like the coastal plains when it comes to snow lol

With those super low dew points, as expected the bottom dropped out as soon as the sun went down.

It's already 30 degrees colder than this afternoon... atmosphere becomes a vacuum once the sun goes behind the Spine.  It's almost like a cold front moved through, doors and windows slammed shut before the heat kicked on.  Will be below freezing in not too long.

Same here. Sun goes down, bottom drops.

19 this morning, stake down to 8”

  5. Was outside measuring when the next squall arrived. It was just like a summer storm. Went from nothing to a few large flakes to a sudden wall of snow. At one point I could literally see heavy snow on one side of my deck and just a few flakes on the other. 1.7” on the first round si about 5-6”/hr?

Always go with spruces.  Smaller evergreens always look best in the snow, IMO.

Great training squall there (I think you are east of the 302 marker where the county line bends back south?).
