what did you end up getting the other day for snow? A friend of mine lives in marlow and got 10". Alex up in BW got 12", mostly from upslope. Seems like NH in general did much better then ME with the exception of eastern maine

Actually got 18” storm total (6 were pre upslope) :) Great storm! And gorgeous today

  2. Drove down to Concord today for an MRI. It really is a different world down there. Bright sunshine, gorgeous late winter day. Snowed all day up here and came back to light snow still falling and snow covered roads.

Got out for a few runs early this morning and the skiing was outer worldly. Pure champagne powder.

Definitely agree with all of this.  Nice, gentle terrain and far less crowded than anywhere else.  Can't beat the scenery either!

Also, if you need a place to stay let me know. I can see what I can do in giving you a deal. We have 126 homes in the program - almost sold out for the weekend but we still have at least 10 this weekend and more over the course of the week.

How’s Bretton Woods for learn to ski type stuff? Thinking about it for next week but I’m not sure what I’m gonna do.

It’s great. Lots of easy terrain and an amazing ski school. Also, much less crowded than other ski areas

i think that’s the year we had an upslope gone wild episode with about 4 feet over a couple of days. It seems like upslope is just something that they really can’t forecast well. I mean even today the forecast is for 20% chance of snow before 8. It’s been snowing moderately since I got up and obviously more than moderately overnight.

Major pool disaster. Due to my knee replacement I was unable to clear snow from my pool. Today the shit hit the fan. The 2 to 3 feet of extremely wet snow forced the pool liner thru the skimmer wall. I counted my shovels over 120 each one very heavy about 20 lbs. Over a ton. Extremely exhausted and sitting here wrapped in ice. Can't win ready for warmth.

Yikes, sorry to hear that. Sucks to have things happen because of physical limitations. I’ve been dealing with some newly diagnosed heart problems (AFib), it sucks not to be able to do the things you want/need to do. But hey, it can always be worse.
