It’s such a local thing! I have seen times when there is an inch of fresh snow at my house and 0 at the snowmobile parking lot less than a mile away. 
 

Tonight’s stuff is the super fluffy kind. 2.75” since leaving, 7.5” storm total. Can’t see the stake but it’s probably still at 4” lol, this stuff has no weight

scary drive through the notch coming back from dinner in North Conway. Still snowing moderately

1.75” so far with moderate snow. Roads plowed but slick. Very pretty!

3/4” here. First snow at my new house. It’s definitely a weenie house. I had the electrician put in a bunch of high powered flood lights all around the house and I love it. So awesome to watch the snow fall from the big windows. Sitting in the dining room is like being in a snow globe
