Not sure why my images are posting in the wrong orientation since the iOS upgrade...

Congrats! Let’s see if we can get that little pulse over here. For Diane.

Severe Irene-level flooding from this event.
I put a bunch of stuff in the storm thread.
4+ inches in Underhill, 3.79” storm total in Stow, 4” in Morrisville, Town of Eden is isolated. RT 108 in Stowe washed out.
What a rain event!
That sucks, sorry to hear that. The few days around Halloween seem primed for floods around NNE. 2 years ago was our turn. Glad we escaped with no issue, but I never wish it on anyone. It’s been a wet month for sure, now let’s turn it white! So the first couple of stray flakes today, but not enough to even be called a trace.

Some stray flakes here

Beautiful day for trick or treating round 1 with broken clouds and snow capped mountains. Snow levels got fairly low last night, around 3000 ft

How does it go? “The pattern in November the winter will remember?”
It’s not exact obviously but I swear it seems to happen to some degree more times than not.....just my impression....no data to support that
If the winter had remembered the pattern from November I’d still have snow from last winter on the ground.

That’s crazy if you’ve only had around 2” this month!
Just north of you there are 60+ CoCoRAHS stations in VT with >4.0” this month and 14 stations with >6.0”.
Its been a wet month overall in VT.
Similar up here. 5.27” so far

That view is not from my house, I drove up to the Cog base which is 6 miles up the street or so. My new house is actually on the same land as the old one - it's 32 acres with 2 5-bedroom homes and 2 cabins, right at the entrance to Bretton Woods on the National Forest boundary.
By the way, NNE peeps, we are soon going to have a new member posting from my area... Guess who?

Hi guys. It's early, but I'm in "testing" mode because I have ditched the old way of doing this, in favor of a more modern way. I would like to get any problems ironed out before the start of the season.
Also, I add members manually. You do not need to register and I do not need your email address, even if you change your password. But you need to send me a PM to get initial login info. (if you haven't already)

Haven't logged in yet. Can you get me an account? Gotta prepare for my race with JSpin.
Thanks!

24.8 for a low. I *think* it's the coldest we've had so far.

Looks like a few mangled flakes are mixing in with the relentless rain at times, but still 40F here

We’ve had sheet drizzle all day. Very annoying and bone chilling. Ceiling is very low so no idea where the snow is, but looks like freezing level is around 3500 ft or so

Pretty run of the mill storm here. 1.8" of rain and some downed limbs but that's about it. Annoying sheet drizzle now in spite of nothing on radar, will be nice once it's sheet snow. Temp dropping steadily since the wind shift but still 42
