10 years ago --- 6/5/10 - My old hometown of Perrysburg was nearly hit by a deadly tornado after 11:00PM. The tornado hit near State Route 795 in Lake Township, hit Lake High School and near Metcalf Airport, also known as Toledo Executive Airport, and continued on to do up to EF4 damage to structures in Millbury, directly east of I-280 and State Route 795. Severe weather parameters increased at nighttime due to a warm front, or possibly just strengthening of the low-level jet. This storm was between Buffalo, SD and Faith SD, with a brief 80 dBz

Last night, an MCS in Missouri was moving westward, and a squall line in Kansas was moving eastward. They met up, and some storms formed a bridge between them. Coming up later today and Saturday, the SPC has an enhanced risk outlook for South Dakota on both days.

There's a supercell with weak rotation between Louisiana, MO, Detroit, IL, and Time, IL. How could you be located at Time?? Only Einstein could figure that out.

A few new severe storms are popping up near Mankato, MN

Some pictures from May 29th (1st picture) and today. I got pictures of a storm, which had the most rain over Horsetooth Mountain (shown in picture) and also Fort Collins

Using this tool, I have figured out that the series of tornadoes from June 1st-3rd, 1980 can be split up into two parts. Several tornadoes happened in various areas with the first low pressure that tracked from the Plains to New England. The Grand Island tornadoes developed with a new warm sector with a new low pressure in the Plains https://www.spc.noaa.gov/exper/outbreaks/

My place has a new storm that developed very close to town. There are lightning bolts all over the place, like this

The storm near you was fairly short-lived. Maybe you got to see a nice anvil or some lightning in the cloud. Today, it's 110 in Phoenix, as an upper-level low offshore from CA helps boost the ridge over the Southwest. That upper low will move towards Oregon, and there should be some chances for severe weather near and east of the Cascades. This is a very unusual situation. We have had some pleasant days. This person posted the radar image of the large waterspout-producing supercell over Galveston bay at 3:33PM (Eastern Time, I believe)

The storms over the Yucatan peninsula attained overshooting tops of -90C by my estimation, based on the color scale (bottom of this image). Based on models, this tropical atmosphere had an equilibrium level of 15 kilometers, at -70C.

There are possible tornadoes near Wells, MN and Rowan, IA right now. The storm cells is so small, the moderate/heavy rain may be falling in a 2mi x 4mi corridor in both.

My place may have gotten 0.8" or better. It was fairly cool, with no thunder and lightning. It's a pretty nice to have a day of gentle rain. It helps the plants and crops to have the water sink into the soil. There is not a quick water runoff and the soil is cool. The water doesn't immediately evaporate.

Today has certainly had some excitement, with 6 zones of severe weather.

This storm may have had two simultaneous tornadoes, but if not, this is still kind of a crazy velocity image

confirmed tornado near Post, Texas. large and extremely dangerous tornado was located 11 miles southeast of Grassland, or 13 miles southwest of Post The base velocity looks kind of awesome on this one.

The circulation near Joliet has weakened somewhat. If there was/is a tornado, it could have been near the intersection of I-55 and I-80, and possibly along the section of I-80 just east of Minooka.

This video has been making the rounds on Twitter -- a great funnel and debris cloud. I don't know how wide this is, but it's obviously not a wedge. So I guess that's kind of good, less total damage.

Supercells are popping up all over the place near Fort Smith AR.

There has been a tornado reported near Monroe, OK, which is probably what you were talking about? South of Fort Smith AR. New tornado warning near Mansfield AR, just to the northeast of the other storm, which still has a tornado warning.
