  1. 0.35" from last evening's activity. 2.75" for July now, after 3.06" in June and 2.02" in May. Looks like I have done fairly well considering some others' reports.
  2. Some gusty winds this afternoon with a couple of thundershowers moving through. Davis gauge at 10m had speeds of 31 G 41 at one point. Split a dead tree in half and dropped it in the yard. Must have hit it just right. 0.28” in the bucket and hoping for more showers this evening.
  3. MRB with a low of 77 shatters the old record of 71 set in 1956. Today's high temp record of 103 from 1942 looks safe. HGR with a low of 81.
  4. 96 at HGR. 97 here. 98 at MRB. HI’s generally in the low 100’s.
  5. Going on 2 hours of steady light rain here. Occasional thunder and lightning. Perfect summer evening before the high heat.
  6. Scored a decent amount of rain from two thundershowers this afternoon. First one around 2:30 only dropped 0.08” but the one that just moved through added another 0.86”
  7. Wow. I’ve measured about 5.5” of rain total since May 1. Hope your boy feels better very soon.
  8. Outflow boundary from the storm in southern Berkeley County just blew through here with 35-40 mph gusts. Rain looks like a miss though.
  9. Hagerstown has been 96+ for 3 consecutive hours. Hit at least 97. 96 here. Martinsburg the cool spot with 92 the high there so far.
  10. 2nd batch of thundershowers really produced. 1.31” for the day now which nearly doubles my June total.
  11. Second day in a row with a good afternoon thunderstorm after the long dry spell. Looks like this one may make it to Poolz’ yard.
  12. 0.36” from two storms today. 1.47” for June. Drier than most of the region.
  13. A much needed downpour happening here. Only a bit of thunder and a few moderate gusts to 30 mph.
  14. 0.36" of rain last night. Up to 1.11" for June.
  15. Been riding the northern edge of the precip shield all afternoon but some welcome rainfall has finally made it to my garden.
  16. 4th day in a row with a sub-80 high temp. 74, 73, 78, 79. May get 2 more if the rain makes it in Wed-Thu.
  17. A moderate rain shower just moved through. Nice to score from a slight chance. 55°
  18. I’ve picked up about 2 and a half inches of rain in the past six weeks. Not the best start to the growing season.
  19. A pop up storm with booming thunder is now dropping rain 3 miles to my east, lol.
  20. Heavy rain missed my yard by about 3 miles as it approached from the SW and then scooted by to the west and northwest. Nice gusty winds at least knocked back the heat. Looks like I will be watering this evening.
  21. Mid-morning discussion from LWX mentioned unsettled weather from the weekend through early next week. Afternoon forecast for here has wall-to-wall sunshine from Friday through Tuesday.
  22. 0.02" here today. Looks like we will finish with the driest May in this area since 2007.
  23. We planted our vegetables two weeks ago tomorrow. That weekend we had enough rain to wet the ground (0.05" total from a couple of light showers) and 0.41" more the following Friday. Now this week we have managed to total 0.20" from three events since Wednesday evening (0.02" today.) Even though a few things are growing, it's not nearly where it could be had we had more luck with the rain. Unless something can pop this evening it looks like I'll be watering this weekend.
