    One of those Euro 46-day runs that @Weather Willposts from mid-December nailed the southern snowstorm. I recall commenting on the record snows it showed from the Gulf coast to the GA and SC coasts.

    Low of -4° for the second morning in a row. This matches the lowest temp I’ve recorded in 19 years at this location, along with January 2009 and January 2014.

    MRB had a high of 16 and a low of 6 so far today. If that holds it’s a -21 departure for the day, after a -19 yesterday.

    Looks like -3° will be my low temp. The Falling Waters CWOP station up the road from me is -6°, up from -9° earlier. Bedford, PA is -15° right now. EDIT- just lost another degree. -4°

    Second night in a row that my site is one of the coldest in the immediate area. Currently -2° with calm winds and partly cloudy skies. Oldtown, MD is -9°. Cumberland and Moorefield, WV are -3°. Saw a -13° at 1000 ft in the Buchanan State Forest north of McConnellsburg, PA about 30 miles north of me.

    Weather station says 7°. I thought it must be an error because the local airports are 17-19°. Checked two outdoor thermometers that also confirmed 7°. Then checked local CWOP stations and all are in the single digits. Very unusual. Edit: bottomed out at 6°.

    Final band moving through with probably the heaviest snow I’ve seen in the past several years. Visibility 1/8 mile at most.

    FWIW that run of the HRRR had my yard reaching freezing after 3:00 p.m. it hit 32 here a few minutes ago
