    Yeah that pile up was nasty. It managed to sleet here for all of 2 minutes and glazed over every surface including the streets. Have to imagine something similar happened with the 100+ car pileup there. Parts of centeal TX now under a Winter Storm Warning with a 26 car pileup in Austin

    Well unless the bridges are really bad it does not exactly seem to be STORM OF THE CENTURY OMG here by the airport. If anything it's bone dry. The whole cold snap is increasingly looming like (yet another) hill country/central TX event precip-wise

    Yeah accumulations wise this is looking like a big bust for east of 35 and north of 20. Our drought of inch+ snowfall continues at the very least

    Latest FWD AFD still pretty aggressive with their snow totals. Not sure I agree but they have the degrees and experience not me lol

    Might bust in two separate directions given the lack of accumulations in northern Dallas EDIT: Seems to be making a transition back to rain. Oh well was fun while it lasted!

    Yeah was for a bit further west of you but nothing has stuck. That may be the story with this event

    TV Mets and NWS still seem to be bullish on accumulations for whatever it's worth. Still a bit skeptical but I was wrong about the snow...
