I mean the radar presentation right now is awesome for about 2/3 of our members. I'm on the north west edge of the heavier stuff.
If this was winter, it would be like the Nemo storm from my area...so close, yet so far away.
Off topic, but man oh man is Michael a beast. That radar presentation is beautiful.
Prayers for all of those down there and any on this board who have family there.
There appears to be a massive slug of rain moving eastbound. I have about 1" since it started yesterday afternoon around 3:00.
Current temp 50. So close to my first 40s of summer/fall.
Wow what a morning; without looking at models, I cannot tell what's hyperbole and what's analysis. From hundreds of thousands homeless, to feet of snow in Vermont! All in mid-September!
Well over an 1" out this way. I lost track of how much we have received since this pattern started in July.
Safe to say this is the greenest my yard has looked for the later part of August in quite a while.
Still mowing once a week to keep up with the lawn.
Same thing from out this way. Looking east, there's a massive anvil cloud, with blue sky to the southeast. I wish I had a good camera for times like this.
Happy for the folks near the coast/city who've missed the storms the past few weeks.
I'm still seeing quite the light show and I must be at least 45 miles as the crow flys. Maybe I'm seeing another cell in union county?
84/73. Just back from an 8:00 am peach breakfast at one of the local farms. Brutal heat index.
Full sweat by 10:00 am carrying around my almost 2 year old, who ran out of steam walking up the hills.
