    If we get into the heavier precip with a GFS track that would be a shallacking. A little bit of an earlier phase would draw heavier precip further west. You can see the northern stream vort about 6 hours late to the party.

    Getting this sped up imo will make a big difference. The airmass wouldnt be as stale if it came in Friday night instead of late Saturday. A few days ago this looked like a late friday/saturday event. Holefully we can get back to that.

    Really good agreement on the models there will be a strong storm somewhere in the east next weekend.Really wish we had a better air mass leading into it.

    For our i 81 area 50 to 75 miles east would be perfect but I aint complaining. Love that both the euro and GFS have qpf bombs

    Cmc has the Wednesdsy/Thursday system a bit stronger. Still slides it south of us but you can see how it could deliver for us .

    Looking through the eps members theres still a decent amout that schlack I81 and west. Maybe 12 to 15. Theres more that hit western PA hard. I still think its a long shot because theres not much cold left by Friday bit it wouldn't take a huge shift for I 81. Like a 50 mile shift.

    I wouldnt give up yet if your in the west. Gfs is close. Has my high on Friday in the upper 30's dropping down to the low 30's that night

    it gets the vort on top of us . At 18z it was over PA. Get it south another 150 miles or so and we might have a fighting chance. Good vort passes can do crazy things during prime climo lol

    Gfs made a move towards the euro. Still not there for us but gets snow into central pa.

    Whatever model gives us the least snow is ussually right. The euro was the first to degrade the look for yesterday and all other models followed then. Im sure the euro will trend to the gfs this time lol
