For 6 days out that looks pretty good to me.

We'll be tracking our Miller A while we are shoveling our SECS.

The normal north trend might help us out this time. Seems like confluence always ends up further north than forecasted . But temps may be an issue either way it seems

Roads were very icy coming over the catoctins on the way home from work around 530 today. There was a car that went down an embankment from the ice. In Thurmont roads were fine but alot of ice on the trees. Wasn't till I was over 1000 ft in elevation that the roads were dicey. Once on the other side if the catoctins in Smithsburg roads were good again with some ice on trees. That added elevation makes all the difference with winter weather. There's been times when it's raining at home in Smithsburg but on top of route 77 there's several inches of snow.

GFS is colder for Sunday compared to 12z. Still rain but has temps in the upper 30s for the northern crew. Something to watch I guess.

18z GFS looks to have more Freezing rain for northern MD. A bit colder. If you look at the last 4 runs there's definitely CAD pushing further south.

My guess would be this thing comes further NW without any phase just based on the past several weeks of trends. Wether enough cold air is around is another question.

If Smith's not ready hopefully Heinike gets the start. No way Haskins should ever see the field again in a WFT uniform.

I don't even know why Haskins is throwing it there. 4 defenders around that 1 receiver. I would play Heinckle in the second half. He can't do much worse than Haskins. Haskins looks completely incompetent on the football field right now.

That's awesome! I posted a few hours ago the h5 from the op GFS 18z. To my eyes it showed some opportunity. Glad to hear the Para has it. That's probably our best shot over the next few weeks.

I wouldn't give up on the first week of January. H5 looked better on the 18z. Need to get the shortwave neutral further west. Something to watch atleast.

I think patience is the key word. Normally blocks give us the goods after there well established and starting to break down or reload.
