    On the GFS I count 6 strait 6 hour panels that are snowing on us. Then some ice then some Rain to end. Sounds fun to me

    Icon looks iconic. Storm seems to last a few hours longer too. Earlier it was jetting out by noon. Now seems to linger into the afternoon hours.

    Still 48 to 60 hours out. Probably a good thing the north trend stopped for the moment. Don't think we are done with that. The last storms bullseye ended up being a couple hundred miles north of where it was 72 hours out. Every storm is different but I've seen this movie enough over the years to know we need it slightly south 3 days out.

    I feel pretty good with my measuring lol. I've measured 26" and that looks spot on with that map.

    Yep. 94. Don't remember that much snow but remember many sleet Bombs changing to Zrain. I remember a few times with temps in the teens with Zrain falling. Roads were literally skating rinks.

    The inside 72 hour north trend is real lol. If there actually is a storm we are probably in a pretty good spot. 5 days out bullseye seems to mean congrats Binghamton lol. The suppression issues in the past was mainly because it was a sheared out POS. Let's do this!

    Was in high school at that time. Ice storm after ice storm. I think we went 2 months without having a full week of school. My sister fractured her arm ice skating in the back yard that year.

    Definitely an anomaly compared to most of the subforum. We got into that extremely heavy band that sat over 81 for several hours Monday afternoon. Picked up about 7" in 5 hours. I'm in the darkest Orange shading in that NWS map that's been posted a few times in this thread. I'm about 5 miles from that red dot that picked up over 20" in the blue ridge summit/ Sabilisville area. But that area has several hundred feet in elevation over me. I'm like 750. Those areas are 1100 ft +.

    Wow at the amount of snow on top of the catoctins this morning on the way to work between Smithsburg and Thurmont. Probably 20" OTG up there on the highest point of Route 77.
