Giving up atleast 46 pts in the first half isn't a recipe for victory for MD. I thought MD needed to keep this game in the 60s or low 70s

I'll give Turgeon credit this year. Definitely overachieved with the talent they have. Their defense is what got them into the tournament.

Md is getting in a danger zone now. Gotta start getting some buckets. Alabama is going to really open this game up.

I think that's also a product of Turgeons offense. Seems like there's always been a tendency of having an extended scoring drought no matter the year or the players.

Heck even the 16th seeds hang in for a while. I remember 20 years ago it was normal for a 16th seed to lose by 40 or 50 pts or more.

MD isn't anywhere close to Final four caliber this year. Last year they were I agree. But Turgeon is their coach and I don't have alot of faith in his coaching. The knock on him prior to coming to MD is that he was a better recruiter than coach. I've seen nothing in his tenure at MD to prove that incorrect.

I see some similarities to the caps cup run 3 years ago. Dowd reminds me of Jay Beagle. Sprong reminds me of Smith- Pelly. Charra adds that steady defensive presence like Orplik. And Ovechkin reminds me of ..... Ovechkin lol. This team really seems to be gelling

I'm watching the Michigan game now. If Dickenson is the center that's playing now then maybe they should of recruited him a bit harder lol. They just said he went to Dematha. Could of used his size

Anybody have any idea what happened last week between MD and Michigan in the big 10 tournament? The verbal altercation between Howard and Terg that caused Howard to get double T'd and ejected. I heard an interview with Howard saying he felt physically threatened by Turgeon. I find that hard to believe lol. Apparently there were other issues in the first 2 meeting in the regular season that wasn't publicized to much.

WFT so far has done well in FA. Veteran qb. #1 Corner back. Legit WR to pair with Mclourin. Edit - not a huge fan of Fitzpatrick. Seen him lose to many games over the years throwing to many Ints. But I get it. They needed to so something at QB. Great story but Alex Smith is done. And the other 2 qbs on their roster are unprovens/ back ups.
