  1. This doesn’t have its own thread? I mean, we’ve had dedicated threads all summer for fading lines of thunderstorms. Could/should be the biggest event of the season.
  2. Nonsense. We were told that there would be no flooding anywhere from this.
  3. Has this whole idea of a super warm humid week also left us, at least for eastern areas? Serious question. My wunderground forecast went from mid 80’s all later next week to low-mid 70’s with one day at 80 (next Sunday).
  4. So I guess we’re not bbq and burnin on Labor Day? That idea sank faster than my teams 1st place standing. Sad times
  5. Those look beautiful! One of these days my job will allow me to utilize, one day
  6. Why would you not have a hoodie on with low 50 temps? Especially this time of year when our bodies make low 60’s and 50’s feel like winter temps. If you’re not doing any type of active work or working out I guarantee you 99% of people are in hoodies with low 50’s temps.
  7. September is one of the best months. Football begins, baseball in the home stretch. Cooler nights, warm days with the gradual step down from nasty summer to comfy sleeping weather. Sure it doesn’t produce the most prolific storms if there isn’t any tropical action but 75% of the months around here are generally boring the same way. At least we’re heading towards more action as opposed to March/April when we’re just heading to more boredom.
  8. Now that the fun is over, when do we start getting those late summer cool nights going?
  9. Spoke too soon. BOS and eastern quarter of mass getting the split.
  10. Finally a good soaking rain. Best since June. Logan should easily surpass .5 and probably be closer to 1” by the time all is said and done
  11. At this point I’m in a believe it until I see it mode. Dry begets dry, no reason that’ll change until a major pattern change occurs. Probably/hopefully sometime in September.
  12. Sweet! So essentially that means my electric bill is going to go up 112%?
  13. Especially that 0z run. Replaces the extreme heat with FROPA’s and refreshing Canadian airmass. The central plains still roast wire to wire though. What a brutal summer for them.
  14. severe season? lol. We don't live in the mid-atlantic or south. True severe weather is basically nonexistent in ENE
  15. Can someone tell me what this gigantic video advertisement that pops up in the middle of our forum page is and how to get rid of it? I haven't been on the forum since early March and this site is just covered in ad's now. It really slows down the site for me, quite annoying.
  16. About 2.5" in Chelsea. Had a really good burst between 7-8 despite light radar returns. Was only expecting about an inch so pleasantly surprised.
  17. About 7.5” here with continued light snow. Roads are an absolute mess with everything freezing up after the CF passed through. Crews will be out all night trying to clean this up. Very deep winter feel.
  18. After some light drizzle the last hour it’s starting to change back to snow as the CF looms nearby
  19. Still accumulating on what matters, snow that's being measured
  20. OES here and around Boston. Comes down really good between big fat flakes and smaller ones. Really cool to see
  21. 6.5 here an hour ago. Was hoping for at least 6. Not a bad storm. Amounts seem pretty uniform for everyone NoP. A general 6-8. Meso clowns did a good job picking up on the cut back snow amounts in the final 12 hours. They were all inflated until then like some said. Back and forth between sleet and heavy snow. Precip just about over for "round 1".
  22. Kinda surprised it ramped up a bit after the meso cut backs. Was thinking about 6" here but that gives me pause for a bit. I mean, can the Euro really be that wrong less than 6hrs until start time? Really weird run. Now a few hrs of sleep.
  23. Just under 6” here. Hopefully Logan reports 6” but I think they’ll come in just under. Was only expecting maybe an inch. Over performer for sure!
  24. At least an additional 2” here so would be well over 5” total. Logan reports similar I would think at 1am
  25. Shocked to see about 3” outside! Some really fluffy high ratio stuff
