For people who are vaccinated, COVID is not even as bad as the flu.

This is absurd and uncalled for, and it makes me thankful to be in a country where such extreme lockdowns are resisted. Shutting down any outdoor recreation is completely asinine, especially in this late stage. I guess it isn’t enough to require masks in the indoor lodges. Seems like some of these countries are prioritizing controlling others rather than making the vaccine more accessible.

A snowy morning here in VT.

I was at Bolton Valley today. A lot of the mountain is no longer open, but those areas that are open have nice spring conditions. Very soft and firm, easy to make turns. I have no idea what it will look like after tomorrow's rainer but today was a good day overall.

The weather here is quite incredible this morning. Upslope snow showers and blowing snow with a temperature of 1°F.

I had a great time at Jay this afternoon. Squall after squall of +SN as I learned my way around the mountain.

2.7” since last night. Still snowing, but I’m headed to Jay.

Wind chill should be right near 0 by the time the mountain closes. Actual temp in the mid teens.

I'm considering either Stowe or Jay tomorrow. Leaning towards Jay, but any advice would be appreciated.

I've migrated from Northfield to the hills west of Worcester, VT and NNE of Middlesex. I'm now at 1460', with a direct view of White Rock mountain from the yard. Currently getting moderate to heavy snow from the upslope. Radar looks great.

The latest v16 GFS has some nice fool’s gold for the Equinox period.

I am too, but at this point, after seeing the latest guidance, my expectations are zero. This will be my chance to experience spring skiing up north for the first time, after last year’s events robbed us of the opportunity.
