I have a wild turkey who has become a regular visitor, eating the bird seed that falls from the feeder onto the ground. Makes a mess of the mulch though. They also will eat flowers, so I have been chasing it away lately. It's hard enough dealing with the deer, but Irish Spring seems to do it for the most part.

There is some evidence that atmospheric pressure gradients are becoming stronger, but I will decline to expound on that in this thread for obvious reasons.

He was a good assistant GM for the Astros, where his focus was scouting and player development at the minor league level. Unfortunately he seems to think that is the sole purpose of an actual GM as well. He is a failure.

As of the latest update(yesterday) a small area in north central MD- much of Baltimore county and parts of Carroll and Harford- are still in a severe drought. Areas surrounding that are Moderate. Better further east- my yard is on the edge of abnormally dry, and nothing points S and E from there. But yeah there has been marked improvement in the past couple weeks. Not sure why he wouldn't be discussing that rather than being a hypester.

Caught the edge of another one. One crack of thunder and a couple minutes of rain. Pushed the total just over an inch.

Mostly missed the heavier showers today, but picked up a little here and there. Looks like 0.93" will be the grand total.

This batch of rain saved the day here. Made the forecast respectable. 0.82".

Typical Miller B MA screw job? A decent piece of vorticity rotating through overnight into the morning hours should bring some precip back into the area and induce a new coastal low. Radar lighting up to the west.

Maybe slightly from a few days ago. Still looks like a general inch or so for much of the region with more in the higher terrain to the west, and any places that happen to get under some convection tomorrow.

The HRRR isn't the end all lol. Its "ok" sometimes, and other times(often) it completely sucks at sniffing out reality even a few hours in advance. Latest 3km NAM, RGEM, and FV3 suggest some degree of convection towards dawn across the area. Where exactly is yet to be determined. To be clear, any overnight storms have a low probability to be severe, but I think many here would be content with some additional rain with some rumbles of thunder- a nice way to wake up and get the coffee going.
