In the shorter term, both the GEFS and the Euro ens develop a -NAO mid to late Nov. If real, that should help mitigate the +EPO/-PNA and tendency for an anomalous h5 ridge in the east. Maybe keep temps near seasonal.

Not recently. Best periods have been early Jan (2017-18) and also late winter- March 2018. Also much of Jan 2022, with multiple snow events. The CFS has been pretty consistent with the -EPO idea, esp for the mid to latter part of winter.

With a serviceable defense they don't lose to 2 terrible teams and are 7-1. Lamar and the offense weren't quite in sync yet against KC, but they certainly could have won that game.

Ravens D is still hard to watch. Offense has been damn near perfect. That will have to continue.

Keaton Mitchell was a full participant in practice and is listed as questionable for the game Sunday. I would probably wait another week, but pretty incredible if he is back and contributing this soon. I was thinking mid December.

Mostly warm and continued dry for the next 10 days at least as it looks now. Maybe a shot at some light rain around the 10th per some guidance. Way out there and no signs at all of a drought buster. If warmish and continued dry is your vibe, you love to see it. Enjoy. For those who want to see cool weather and maybe some actual rain, it's a continuation of shit the blinds. Reevaluate towards mid Nov.

So, what we know- Jason has chosen to take on a lesser role with CWG, focusing on local coverage, and suggesting there is a new chapter to be written. Meanwhile Ben Noll has accepted a position with WaPo/CWG as a meteorologist. These 2 facts may or may not be related. This should at least partially answer the OP's question. Remember how persistently drool worthy the seasonal/extended products looked at h5 last year? How did that work out? So if they look 'crappy' now who cares? The Nino-Nina perceived outcome bias is real. The PDO phase has been unfavorable for years, and yet we have managed winters with some decent snow despite that. Not likely to see above avg snowfall, so adjust expectations accordingly. Ofc a complete ratter is also possible (regardless of Enso state) these days.

Probably aren't any other than try to fix it with the staff/players in place. One thing they can do is go get a pass rusher before the deadline. They aren't getting consistent pressure on the QB which exacerbates the issues in the back end.

It nailed that 29 right over my yard lol. It was 32 at 1am and 31 or below from 2am forward. Right at 30 now. Not quite a hard freeze.
