  1. How many weeks of actual winter weather did we have the last time there was a strong Nino? Be careful calling people crazy when you drop turd posts like this.
  2. Amazingly, neither of you seem to know where you live. We are just coming out of a 10 day period of legit winter that produced a moderate amount of snow in the lowlands. If we get another 10-14 days with a pattern that can deliver below avg temps with a favorable storm track, that is a pretty typical winter at this latitude outside of the western highlands and PSU land. Also a reminder- These sort of posts belong in the Panic Room thread.
  3. High of 36. Some melting today, but still 4"+ otg. Thaw begins in earnest tomorrow with low 40s. eta- when I was typing/editing the op I deleted part of it- should read: 'still 2.5 - 4+" otg'. Location in the woods filters the sun (and wind) quite a bit.
  4. Lol another one.. Pacific jet extensions BAD. TORCH!! These fuckin guys.
  5. He is still trying to convince himself(and others) his postulation is valid, despite so much failure to connect those dots.
  6. LOL. He is the one who has been pushing the extended Pacific jet = Pac puke = doom narrative and making weenies panic every time they see those words. He probably realizes he won't be able to support that crap this time. Time to shift the goalposts!
  7. Yeah it seems to be in alignment with where the extended tools take the pattern going forward- maybe a little sooner.
  8. My hunch is we are seeing the antithesis of a can kick across guidance.
  9. 12z GEFS suggesting the h5 pattern becomes serviceable sooner- western trough progressing eastward under the ridge and indications of NA wave breaks initiating a -NAO.
  10. El Nino favors an extended and equatorward shifted Pacific jet, and the results downstream are often beneficial to our hopes and dreams. Seems he is attempting to be intellectually honest with this one lol.
  11. As advertised there is a significantly amplified PNA ridge with wave breaking pinching off and dropping TPV lobes southward. A major reason is the NPac jet is extended with a strong jet core exit region pretty close to the US west coast. Not all bad despite the myths.
  12. Not sure which counties but driving in northern Caroline and Queen Annes this weekend there were a lot areas with drifting snow across the roads and black ice. Even this morning my road is mostly covered. Lots of open fields and no snow fences around here.
  13. Maybe. The Bills D was pretty scrappy though late in the game despite missing some key players.
  14. Ravens fans remember... Billy Cundiff
  15. The connection between him and Diggs was off all night. He dropped that perfectly thrown bomb earlier in the game.
  16. Not a fan of the guy but he did seem to pull this team together when they were .500 and looked to be going nowhere. As for Allen, he is a gunslinger and will throw some picks, ignore the open underneath receiver for a big play chance, and is inaccurate at times. Still one of the best QBs in the league and a dual threat like Lamar.
  17. Don't forget Reid. Cringe.
  18. The Ravens just need to take care of business against one of the top QBs in the league next week.
  19. Temp down to 22. Ideal radiational cooling conditions. This has a chance to be the coldest night of the winter here.
  20. High of 31. Currently 29. Thaw begins tomorrow.
