  1. Yea, lot of good the blocked flow did us a few days ago, now porked through the other orafice with fast flow.
  2. Yea, because the ensembles have had me pulsating and throbbing for weeks.
  3. Not with the type of February that I expect...at least down here. Just remember two things: 1) N stream systems can emerge inside of 5 days. 2) You may do okay in February up there.
  4. That's what I said the other day.
  5. What I asked was that if el nino is muted due to warmer ambient ocean, wouldn't la nina be augmented. You said no, but this seems to argue otherwise...
  6. Will said that if anything, the expansion of the Hadley Cell should augment la nina forcing in February, which makes sense as it would enforce se ridge.
  7. Why Dews tossing weenies at the idea of a warm February, isn't that what you want?
  8. Stand by for another Cohen displacement. Now that he has gone all in, we will have two weeks of winter before the rug is pulled out. Watch-
  9. May not be what we expect, but its always been what WE expect.
  10. Don't rule that out this weekend, should the Dawn Awaken.
  11. Was that the mid level magic event?
  12. I think that Dec event likely availed of that brief arctic intrusion....if we hadn't had that, I doubt that band would have been as intense.
  13. I feel like not having any arctic air around has inhibited storm development.
  14. You know its bad when the rev doesn't post for like a week.
  15. I agree, aside from the fact that I''m just glad to to be free of swamp ass for several months.
  16. Its like the 12"/hr ban over Claremont, NH last month completely gassed the hemisphere-
  17. This has probably been the most boring and unremarkable winter month that I can recall in a very long time. I mean , last season was memorable for the warmth.....over what will be a month next week? One warm cutter, otherwise, complete and utter meteorological ennui. Not much precipitation, not particularly cold, not particularly mild. Its been an absolute clinic in boredom from mother nature. Se may have fallen asleep herself at the wheel.
  18. Plenty of LES and upslope! Great opportunities for @STILL N OF PIKE to post pics of himself eating sushi in some remote village on a snow chase.
  19. I expected the +EPO in the second half, but thought there would be higher heights around AK early on.
  20. I have misdiagnosed the Pacific, so far....The PNA has been a welcomed surprise, but I felt the EPO would be more favorable early on....that is what has killed the cold.
  21. I figured that because you said that it would flush the puke out...
