  1. Past hour
  2. Trying to learn that myself as they get older
  3. Should be pretty easy. Been that way for like the last 4 seasons.
  4. Lol. What is a great parent? Surviving? Keeping your children alive?
  5. Euro AI is kind of meh too. Shreds later this week, runs this weekend and scrapes us next monday.
  6. To my untrained eye, the trends on the euro AI don’t look great. The system on the 23rd and 24th looks way south. I’m nothing else looks too robust.
  7. 9z SREFS bumped.north maybe Long Island and far southern CT can get lucky with something?
  8. Yep I remember those days. They go quick. I’m sure you guys are great parents.
  9. The main archive with each season goes back to 1994. Individual historic level storms back to 1888 and being filled in. Theres 295 storms on the main archive page. I list it near the top. How many maps have i done? I was curious, so i just checked, 1,199. Thats how many are up on the site right now including seasonal snowfall maps.
  10. you must be forgetting what it’s like to have two kids under two in your home. The only charts I have are tracking feeding schedules and poop and supplies. I started tracking the euro AI a few weeks ago and I always look at WPC and I just figure that’s going to show me trends so I feel I have some sense of where things are headed. And then, of course I just read what everyone on here has to say.
  11. They might. The sea effect there has been over the top. https://science.nasa.gov/earth/earth-observatory/winter-grips-japan/
  12. With the longevity of the snow pack and depth of it, for those who work outdoors, it's deft starting to get to people mentally... can't do anything really outside here at work and it's getting aggravating. Can't get ready for summer park season if can't do anything outdoors
  13. That was a 12z warm sector with dews in the 40s and 50s…it’s gone on the 6z run.
  14. Got another 1.5” of fluff overnight, but finally cleared out! Looking forward to some sun
  15. But you have those charts updated and printed above your bed every day.
  16. I think he needs like 12”. Let’s get him 11.9”
  17. Go to Japan! They may beat them but I'm not sure
  18. No, I just have a couple of pieces of things I look at and I look for trends. There’s been an uptick over the last couple of days on the QPF but also GYX is noting in increasing chances. I don’t usually spiral left of one model run as some of us do on here.
  19. Definitely some conflicting looks later next week. Even euro op is mild.
  20. I’m skeptical of 40° warm anomalies in Quebec on a 10 day map.
  21. What do we need to do to get Ray to rip up his winter forecast in the 9th inning?
  22. Of course, but I track it every day and it’s been slowly increasing. Might be wet for you down there and the QPF is higher north of the Massachusetts border.
  23. the good news for winter lovers; next winter is only nine (9) months away
