  1. Past hour
  2. My cucurbits and tomatoes missed the point as well. It's possible that the record lowest temperatures in 48 of the 50 states (all but HI and possibly NH) were "fake".
  3. a day where you can wear a hoodie and not a heavy jacket..
  4. Hmmm...you or John not grasping or understanding...that is a tough one....let me ponder that decision lol
  5. Ok. Bottom line, nothing is fake about any temp. Or any weather for that matter. If you want to call radiational cooling fake, the same radiational cooling that ultimately causes winter time temps, and ultimately CAA, and sound like you’re in special Ed…then that’s on you. I think we all explained it well, and made it clear. BTW…It’s 67 out…great day…but maybe it’s fake?
  6. if it's registering on the thermometer, it is not fake, it is real nah, we are gonna keep embarrassing you on this subject for as long as you want to persist with being embarrased
  7. I won't lie, I see no one getting tussled over frosts this fall. Every morning you seem to be the driver of the fake cold narrative, but I again understand, you are growing your vegetables getting up each morning seeing 15 posts about people with ice, 28F, dead vegetation, etc. In the afternoon, you don't seem to care as much if BDL is 71F and you are 66F, it feels normal even if the heat is fake. Honestly, we've had some deep freezes, even as low as 20F at home at 1,100ft this past week... but I'm not sure 1,800ft has gotten below 30F once, lol. The mid-slopes have been staying warmer. It's just how it is in high pressure patterns.
  8. Region 1+2 is about to explode with warmth. A DWKW has reached the South American coast and has begun to surface, anomalies of +10C are being reported and sea level heights are at levels never seen before in history. This warmth is certain to spread into regions 3 and 3.4 in the next few weeks. Also, this WWB continues to look more and more impressive on the models, which is also going to help enhance the warming in those regions over the next several weeks….. The subsurface…..WOW
  9. No... 32, is cold. It is not fake. I dunno...getting close to needing to call you a choice word, and walking away. haha my god
  10. Lmfao…it’s amazing he can’t understand this. I said this earlier…maybe we can call it fake warmth at Kevin’s house at night…right? But That would be just as ridiculous.

  12. You are not grasping or understanding and that’s ok. Move along now ya hear?
  13. We can and we do. This heat this afternoon is born of the same fake cloth. It’s just some folks get panties bunched and tussled over frosts so it’s talked about much more .
  14. It's not a hot air mass either though. Why don't we call it fake warmth? Every air mass a cold one if you go up high enough.
  15. This is why you are prone to believing fake news ... Reality is not what you want, or want to accept. It is, and you can decide whether you want to be realistic, or reside in some deluded state. The air temperature is 35, and if that is sensibly considered cold to the observer, it is a cold air mass. End of debate. Whether that air mass then rises to 70 that afternoon or not, doesn't change the fact... if/when that happens, the air mass is then a warm air mass. That's it. there is nothing else.
  16. I'd say that is a cold airmass at night, and a hot airmass during the day. Any other characterization can be considered "fake" to be expected, the air is thin at elevation, negatively affects congition
  17. You’re lost on this bud…..that’s laughable. You missed the whole idea. But whatever.
  18. Whoosh right over the top of ye dome . No one is saying the temp at the ground isn’t really happening. If it says 32, it is 32. But if it rises to 70 that afternoon, that airmass is not real and is not cold . It’s a fake cold
  19. I wrote the same thing as the bolded. It can be hot at one point and cold at another point, all in 24 hours. Or is the argument that we just take the average temperature? Like the average temperature is 60F, but it's 30F at night and 90F by day. That average temperature is fairly useless in that scenario... it hits 60F for 15 minutes at like 10am and again at 6pm.

  21. The airmass is not real . It’s not a cold airmass . A cold airmass stays cold during the day and doesn’t have 40 degree diurnals. Folks need to try to understand that
  22. This is incorrect logic in the empirical sense of reality. For human sensible recognition, when it is 35 it is cold. When it is 95, it is hot. in our example of the desert, the air mass is cold a night, hot during the day. The point that is being missed is that it is the same air mass getting to a cold or hot state. If an air is always hot or always cold, than THAT is THAT air mass. The temperature is a physical representation of the average kinetic motion of the molecules and atoms. It is not fake. It is an empirical measurement of state.
  23. What I mean is, this is in fact a +PNA. It may not look like one that we’re familiar with, but based on the coordinates it’s measured at, the SE trough, and positive height differential between Western Canada and the GOA all make it positive.
  24. In your example, I'd argue its cold at night and hot during the day. If you are sleeping out in the desert, you really don't care why it is what it is. So you are saying it's fake cold and fake heat? I also get it from the standpoint of you living on a hill top... people saying its cold and you are still growing vegetables. That's going to get a response that this isn't real. I mean, I can be standing up at the picnic tables and it's breezy and 55F while it's frosty and 28F in the valley almost 4,000ft below... its just weather, that's how it happens. It's been happening in mountain valleys since the dawn of time... whether it's in Yellowstone or Jackson Hole, or in a hollow of CT.
  25. ...And AI has all of humanity living in a simulation apparently ... sign of the times, man. sign of the times
  26. Yup. The cold which materializes within the Arctic/Polar regions isn't coming from Santa or his elves, its a byproduct of prolonged radiational cooling.
