I just used your bottom pic as back round. Awesome is a understatement of those photos

...
Looks like February here will end up being about +2.6° above normal. Not a total torch like the last two months!

What an incredible day. 68 for the new record and a blast of thunderstorms. Went outside and just took these shots.

The temp dropped almost instantaneously from near 60 to the upper 30s when the winds shifted from the lake.

So odd to be out in February taking lightning pictures along the shore. Not a lick of ice outside. This would have been incredible had the lake been frozen over (as it normally is in this location at this time of year)

Wow!! Outstanding pics dude! The combination of the different colors, the water, and the cool looking shoreline in the foreground is very nice.

Met Winter in Detroit was the 6th warmest on record. Compared to most other top 10 warm winters, we didnt do bad with snowfall this winter, all things considered. The winter of 2011-12 (32.9F) was 9 degrees warmer than 2010-11 (24.1F)!

Top 10 warmest winters in Detroit, and the season total snowfall (the whole season, not just DJF).

Where do you get this from? I'll start using this for mine too if DVN makes it available. Would definitely save a lot of time lol.

I use a program called Cumulus to log all the weather data from my Vantage Vue. This program also updates Weather Underground, CWOP and Twitter.

Much better than manually entering the data into a spreadsheet.

I use a program called Cumulus to log all the weather data from my Vantage Vue. This program also updates Weather Underground, CWOP and Twitter.

Much better than manually entering the data into a spreadsheet.

Interesting. I've been using Virtual Weather Station for the uploading to WU and APRS. I'll have to check to see if it has a similar feature.

Upon further checking, VWS has something similar. Obviously lacks the snowfall info though...
