mayjawintastawm
First freeze of the season this morning along the Front Range. Most locations bottomed out in the 30-32 range, 27 at my house (typical cold spot). Mountains look pretty and seasonal for a change. What does El Niño have up his sleeve? Some indications of a cold storm in about 10 days, but we all know where that's gotten us the last 15 months.

Would be cool to see it snow along the front range in October, but I'm trying to keep my hopes in check. I'll take any precip we can get, and hopefully the mountains see more snow this month. Realistically it will take time to crawl out of this drought - I just hope to see continued improvement!

I think the red brick building in the foreground is a great place to eat but I don't know if it's that block or the one just to the right (north). frontranger8
Been an incredible start to the season for the Southwest, and much needed. But very dry outside of the sharp borders of the wet zone.
bch2014
All that red along the central coast will be wiped out when the map updates tomorrow - we got slammed with rain here in Santa Barbara County over the last 36 hours, with thunderstorms still popping up as the ULL spins. https://files.countyofsb.org/pwd/hydrology/Rainfall Reports/rainfallreport.pdf
