Record high yesterday of 84 at Norfolk, VA April 1.  Possible another record high today and tomorrow.

That’s an impressive early April spike for Norfolk. Hitting record highs this early in the month really highlights how variable spring temperatures can be. It will be interesting to see if this trend continues or if a cooler pattern returns, especially since April weather can swing quickly between warm and mild conditions.

Happy Easter to the forum members! Hopefully it’s a joyous one. We have the successful rescue in Iran of a downed U.S. airman to help celebrate it. Also, Happy Passover!

 One more warm humid day before a several day cooldown with highs in the upper 60s or low 70s. But before that, I’m hoping for some good rainfall amounts later today and this evening as it is extremely dry here.

The rains have finally come. Currently at 1.09" and counting.

Not here. Just 0.01” from first line. Maybe we get a few hundredths of an inch with the last line. Bad miss

Legitimately missed out on the rain today, 0.01” total. Everything this evening evaporated moving in and then reformed east of here

Leaving a restaurant today and it was pouring. I guess at least an inch, Newport News International Airport says .67 inches.  GFS sucks too.  There is no rain for the next 2 weeks.

 I ended up getting the better part of 1/2” of much needed rain from thunderstorms late this afternoon. That was the best rain in quite awhile!
