1234snow
Just picked up a quick inch with severe warned storm that popped up. A small break in the heat for this week.
Dsty2001
I have got more rain in the last few hours and more to come than what seems like the last 4 months combined! Lots of lightning too
John1122
The dew point is ridiculous at 75 right now, and I'm already up to 89. 89 was my high yesterday.
dwagner88
Hitting 90 before 10 AM today. If we mix out dews we probably break 100. Got close yesterday.
dwagner88
Looks like there are some legitimate 80 degree dew points showing up. KDNN (Dalton) is registering 90/80 with a HI of 107. My PWS has spiked to an 82 degree DP which is the highest one I have ever recorded.

John1122
Made it to 94 here. Which is hot for mby. I can't remember if I even made it over 90 last summer.
nrgjeff
These dewpoints are simply unacceptable at these temps. Qatar World Cup weather is not what we need for ours! The only acceptable place for such temps/dews is chasing Bangladesh and with a proper hodograph. Otherwise it ain't right anywhere! I figure with more thunderstorms the humidity will hold in. Now looks like at least low 90s highs drags into next week. Heat index will stay 100 to 105. Guess after about a week of 110 that'll start to feel normal though. Until then enjoy the long weekend. Happy 250 America!

We hit a heat index of 108 yesterday and 110 so far today. I think that's above the advisory level.

The mid-state and western areas are getting pounded again today as well. I'm not sure why those areas are able to pop storms but they won't pop here. We have all the fuel but no sparks.
