frontranger8
DEN picked up 8.5" of snow yesterday, putting them at 21.2" on the season and officially out of contention for least snowy winter in Denver records. Though it would be lowest in the airport era if no more snow fell.

If it weren't the EC and if we hadn't seen this pattern literally 80% of the time for the past 5 months, I'd shrug it off.

frontranger8
Looks like a big cooldown and chance of some snow over the weekend now.
ValpoVike
CSU closed their campus this afternoon due to falling trees. I have heard that someone was injured and a car damaged. I clocked a high gust up here of only 47mph, but apparently FoCo had gusts over 60mph.

Maybe more likely.

ValpoVike
It hasn’t been a terrible March up here. Sitting at 1.26” LE for the month. YTD is 1.74”, so yeah January and most of Feb was underwhelming.

It kinda tore up our trailer cover, that had previously survived fierce winds the past several years. Oh well the damage could have been worse - our house and trailer are still standing .

Unfortunately every bit of moisture we get is quickly sucked up by the un-ending wind. I've lost track of the severe wind events we've had this past fall/winter; we've had our power knocked out 4 or 5 times.

I lost 3 large and mature trees in December, and a couple of weeks later I lost a portion of fencing. Looking forward to eventual calm weather.
mayjawintastawm
3.7" here, 12.7" total MTD which is almost half my season total. We're now over my 15-year season minimum of 21.6". Guessing a bit over 1" WE for the month, not bad if heat/dryness otherwise weren't fighting against it.
