So 99 ended up being my high yesterday. Just couldn't muster up one more degree. Strange though that this morning is the coolest one since the heat wave started. Bottomed out at 68 after mornings of 71 and 70 respectively.

My low was also lower this morning. I thought it might have to do with lower dewpoints, my dew was a good 5 notches lower yesterday afternoon than it was on Monday. But it did come back up overnight and was running about the same as previous nights. Not sure why the temp was lower last night...maybe the NNW wind component?

This heat wave did what it was supposed to do: It warmed up swimming holes and water parks. Swimming holes are now too warm but the relaxation of the heat will correct that and we should be set for a nice summer of water recreation.

I am now alright with low-mid 80s with the occasional hot one.

Shut up lol. Really?

3 days of 100 degrees and 9 or whatever days without rain will do that in high summer. I’ve missed most all the rain this last 2 weeks. I have 1.8” rain this month.

Got .05” rain - perfect! Don’t have to water tonight.

Hoping for the same here. Have missed everything all day but there’s a tiny little potent cell just NW of Mount Joy headed my way that I hope holds together.

Narrator: It did not, in fact, hold together.

Low of 72 with zero rain.  MDT fell one degree shy of the daily high record yesterday, broke the max min record by one degree, and also now stands one degree AN for the month.  Supposed to go to a Barnstormers game tonight, so a close eye on the radar, I will have.  Cheers.

No rain at the homestead for me as well. A couple of weeks ago I was ground zero for flooding rains, yesterday my ground received zero. :)
