Voyager Posted yesterday at 03:31 PM Author Share Posted yesterday at 03:31 PM So help me understand... Where did this crap come from that no one saw coming a few days ago? We were supposed to finally have a dry weekend and multiple rain-free days. What happened?
Mount Joy Snowman Posted yesterday at 04:04 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:04 PM Low of 71 here. Had our annual summer party yesterday and while hot, just glad it wasn’t like today or the next few. Got the yard cleanup done early this morning to beat the heat. Brutal out there. Did not expect this much on the radar and at that close of a distance. Interesting.

Mount Joy Snowman Posted yesterday at 05:54 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:54 PM Just sat on the porch and watched rounds of T’showers roll through. Shocked it didn’t amount to more given the extreme moisture in the atmosphere and the solid radar returns. Perplexing. In any case, quite the forecast miss today, as I literally had 0% POPs for days on end for this time period. Air is THICK.
Voyager Posted yesterday at 05:54 PM Author Share Posted yesterday at 05:54 PM Seeing some good CTG lightning streaks and hearing thunder from the dark clouds and storm to my southeast that won't get me. So close, but yet, so far...

I ended up high and dry but appreciated the respite from the sun while it lasted.
