Very cool for late June in PAC NW, currently only 48-50 F at lower elevations of n Idaho and nw Montana, se BC, and snow is reported in mountain passes. A cold drenching rain here, not good for a weekend but great news for forest fire suppression. It is only 45F at my elevation (normal here is 80F).

We got about a half inch to an inch of snow today.  Snowed for most of the morning and afternoon.  (elev 6,700')

Today, Phoenix recorded its first 90° low temperature of the season. That is the fourth such occurrence on June 30th, which ties June 26th and June 29th for the second most occurrences in June. Only June 27th with five occurrences has more in June.

Finally, drier Monsoon seasons are often correlated with more intense heat. Phoenix has been evolving toward drier monsoon seasons and hotter summers.

This one says it was 107 at one station. It was 100 all over the metro area. 104 at Fort Morgan, 104 at Fort Collins-Loveland. Denver tied a record of 100 from 2022.

Sorry to hear that, you have seemed to have a force field over you for as long as I can remember.  Up here, we have done pretty well over the past couple of days and have picked up .53".  Not huge, but I will always be happy on any summer day when I pick up over .1"

May 20-June 25 were remarkably wet, so on average we are unremarkable in the SE half of the Metro- it's more that "dry begets dry" all over again once it gets started.
