I think the station a few blocks from me that I usually reference, cooked itself a little while ago. Now I have to drive around and verify a few other sitings as things have grown since I last did it, but the town highway garage a mile away shows 93/81. There are quite a few local stations in the upper 90s and some showing DPs in the upper 80s, the shaded ones are all hovering around 90.

LB, you've never seen ground haze? Are you just becoming self aware and learning to observe and understand your environment in real time? You should probably refrain from putting your every thought out into the ether...

I've seen haze way off in the distance.... like on a football field, but never 10-20 feet in front of me, which is how far that maple tree is from my back door (it's a small maple tree 5-6 feet tall, I planted it a few years ago.)

I do long distance photography and see haze in images taken of small animals and birds over 200 feet away, but this is the first time I've ever seen it this close.

94/81 at home with an HI of 116. Stupid, just plain stupid but like I said in the main thread yesterday, to each their own for those that enjoy this stuff.

That dew pt. of 81 is just insane. I wonder if it’s from being near the walkill river and the moisture from the golf course. Dew pt. here is 77 currently.

I trust my station, and had similar higher dewpoints with my other Davis stations in the past. I've concluded it must be the river and the wetlands pretty close to my yard. 94/83 currently.

The dew pts really fluctuate locally. SW was 73% KMJ and POU were 75%

Gravitylover’s eariler post was showing numbers around 80. Makes a huge difference in heat index fluctuations locally.
