The conditions were brutal the day I did. Howling winds and and soaked fairways. Hard to give an honest assessment. I played it as part of a single day tournament back in April. A decent course. Some very cool holes. I can definitely see where it was really cool 100 years ago. But by today’s standards it’s just got a nice location.

The holes by the water were cool. Short part three right on the water If I recall correctly.

(Tournament length) 200 yard par 3 over water 175 yard par 3 along water par 4 along water par 5 along water that required a 200+ carry over water driveable par 4 over water was coolest hole
DavisStraight
When we go to Cooperstown we play at the Otsego golf Club, nine hole course, one of the oldest in the country then we play Leatherstocking, there's one hole with an island tee box, 90 degree angle dog leg left, you can hit it 150 yards straight to the fairway all the way to over 300 yards way to the left, I always took an easy route and hit in the middle, the farther your drive the close to the green. They close the course on Induction weekend to the public, only the big names can play that weekend.

Golf courses must not be off to a great year with all the rainy weekends. 2 months, at least down here pretty much down the tubes. A lot of momentum is built early. You can never make up full for bad days but it’s been good to be busy when you can.
