But it's late February on the Northern Outer Banks and this is all I can ask for. A few good winters here since I've been down this way.

You have done well this winter
Stormpc
Agree. I've actually had more snow since I moved down here in 2018 than mild spot in Nova

EverythingisEverything
Va. Beach here, looks like for our Winter we missed a big one to our south, and we got eaten up with dry air, and this one we were too far to the south to cash in on the Blizzard of '26. It was fun tracking these storms though.
snowchill
Ric officially picked up 1.2” giving the airport just over 12 inches for the season. From Jim Duncan

I don't think we're done for the season with snow it might not be much but we will see something... but it was fun and civil I wanna give a shout out to obviously @D-Moneyfor all your help with model maps and all of that and your thoughts and also @eaglesin2011who had the right call from the beginning or at least the last couple days- kudos! Still snowing in Atlantic and Cape May County (NJ) where I grew up including Gloucester County where I graduated high school it is later now but they were still getting 2 to 4 in./h and the national weather service put out a message about that earlier this morning. I think that ended around 10 AM to 2 to 4 in./h They got absolutely smoked!

Rain storms are legit too! Last July was pretty epic IMBY. Got over 12” for the month and 4.40” on one day alone. I regret not posting much outside of winter but will do for sure. Like that this board is getting good traction these days.

From Jim Duncan I beg to differ with Jim on that one. That 1.2" report is no where near the airport

I got a few more years before I retire. If I was already retired I would've driven up there on Saturday and just stayed with fam for a few days haha- once I realized we weren't gonna get much even if we did get several inches here.
