Jan 22-23 Predictions and Call Maps

I think the valley will kill totals. I'm thinking 6 inches at most for Asheville. 

 

Pretty much all of Buncombe County had over 10 inches.. and a lot had over a foot.

I'm going with 6-12" for the Triad, dependent on the level of mixing.

 

Well... We had 3" of IP which didn't melt off the roads for days, so it was a major storm, but the changeover was a lot earlier than I predicted.  To be fair, the NWS was also forecasting 6-10" here, so I wasn't exactly crazy high with my prediction.

For what it's worth, he nailed the Triad region, so i'll give him some credit on that.

Yea. I didn't anticipate the deform band. But some on here are overly critical of me. Prolly post on other sites more that arnt as hostile and clickey. Lol that's why I don't post on here that much anymore.
