Baroclinic Zone
Well something to watch going forward I guess. It is possible it's more of a meh rain event, but could be one of those 6hr short duration downpours too. I think it's going to take on more of this look. Narrow, strong band of rain with embedded thunder.
CoastalWx
The potential is there with that PWAT value so high. We could have PWATs high, but then only have 1" or so. I feel like that can be overused. I think it is a good measure to show potential, but you need a mechanism to squeeze out the moisture in the atmosphere. If that mechanism is there, it has the potential to really dump.

Hambone
This would be great and all, but I am supposed to be camping again that weekend...cwap! A few years back my wife and I rode out a late September 4 day Noreaster at Mattawankeag Wilderness Park in northern Maine. Get good rain suits. Bring tarps and rope and build yourself an "outside room. It was pretty amazing being outside during that much wild weather. the tarps kept an area about 20'X20' dry. We never lost our fire during 3" of rain. Cooking was easy, we had plenty of wine and I'm glad we rode it out.

Ginx snewx
Midday runs today are very wet with 2-4 inch totals being printed out by the GFS and NAM, looks like a prolific QPF event today.
