  1. Calling it 4.25" in Arlington but could be convinced by spotter reports around me. Seems plausible it was a little more, doubt it was any less.
  2. Can’t help but wonder if the shoddy flake quality destroyed our chances at meeting true WSW criteria. Still, we did well. I assume I’ve got a very similar total to this. Gonna stick a stick in it this morning and see if it surprises me…
  3. The weenie who was working yesterday afternoon when they said 4-5” should get a raise. They chickened out when they dropped it this morning
  4. Today’s storm was kind of a win for the CMC, which never let go of the coastal idea that has come back. Maybe it’s on a heater
  5. Would’ve done another lap on the jebwalk but dry air seemed to still be eating that stuff to the west. Still pretty good flakes. Think 1” is achievable but sadly I’ve got too much work tomorrow to stay up and find out this go around
  6. Little over 4”. My last measurement of the night. Would love to wake up to 5”. Epic!
  7. Flake size and rates blow right now. Wondering if my post Jebwalk total will be the final. Would love to slant stick 4”
  8. Taking a jebwalk and then likely calling it a night. Enjoy everyone!
  9. If the NAMs are overly aggressive with the warm air push, could have some surprise additional snow tomorrow morning. Or just ice.
  10. Our obs are tracking well. Was about to report the same. How is your flake quality? Mine are tiny, but maybe it really doesn’t matter
  11. On a pretty great approach for the I-66 deathband. It’s been awhile
  12. Definitely in a bit of a lull, but some better echoes might be approaching. Would like a rocking hour or so!
  13. 1955! Still waiting for greens on the radar. In theory this batch is almost all gravy I suppose… was banking on 7-12 being the heaviest snow.
  14. Something over 2”. Couldn’t get a great guess.
  15. Could use some better flakes to enhance things. Pixie dust hardcore right now. Needles
  16. Little under 2” in NW Arlington. I’d still call it light snow, but maybe I’m being a pessimist
  17. GEFS was a hold if not a slight improvement - GFS was on the lower side of it's own members.
  18. It's pretty light in my corner of Arlington as well... think it still might be working it's way to ground truth a little bit.
  19. Have a relative in town who has been trying to fly out of DCA today... airport seems to be basically closed. After 1-2" of snow? Pretty pathetic.
  20. Even just looking at the surface you can tell it's disjointed but feels like it should be more. Still some time
  21. GFS brings some light snow in Thursday night, then again during the day on Friday. T-2" all told
  22. With 1-2" for most already on the ground a lot of us essentially got purpled
