Radar estimate of .72 in the past 30 minutes or so in N Arlington. Wicked.

Pebble-sized hail and nice CG’s in North Arlington. Dumping again. Gonna check the usual flooded spots.

Absolutely dumping out of this pop-up storm in N Arlington. Heaviest rain since last July.

Some decent thunder in the distance. Looks like a good storm is approaching.

Super happy with how this turned out and I hope to get some of you all in the next one. It is shocking how friendly this community is and I have a lot of you to thank for keeping me interested in the weather.

Hi everyone! I'm looking to see if anyone here would like to be interviewed for a fun little story I'm working on with the Capital Weather Gang... some of my Twitter networking has paid off. The story is about weather hobbyists and tools/tips you have to get the weather, how your friends/colleagues have come to know you as the "weather guy/girl." These last two days have been the nicest days of the year. I’m not looking forward to real heat.

I agree it’s more than the 0 times an elementary schooler should be dragged out of school in handcuffs (minus extraordinary circumstances), but hardly frequently, that’s unfair. But fine, there could definitely be overreactions. I’ll concede that.

As much of a weenie as I am and love to reference those, they’ve been horrible the last couple threats. They are always the last to show snow.

haha, we got NAM’d (by May standards) edit: meh, I take it back. Looked better on TTT but pivotal maps aren’t much changed.

18z NAM is snowy for the usual areas. Probably even gives DCA a T, which is a massive win.

GEFS shifted in a positive direction... went from nada to a .3” mean across the board, more west. Unreal image for this date 84 hours out.

If anyone thinks they are going to a pool that isn’t in their own backyard or HOA this summer, I’ve got a bridge to sell them. Maybe that’s too pessimistic, but we’ll see.
