    Honestly, that means a ton, I really appreciate it. I remember when we both totally sucked. That said, @Cobalt is by far and away a better aspiring meteorologist. Dunno if that's what he actually plans to study in college but he's done a much better job at absorbing a lot of the more technical stuff.

    Post-snow sadness kicking in -- got a nasty feeling Charlottesville is gonna be just too south for this active period over the next week or so. Wouldn't mind missing out on historic ice all that much though, I suppose.

    Melting rapidly but that was a lot of fun. Measured 3.25" at elevation. No clue what really fell at my house as it was a puddle and lightly drizzling when I got back. I'd guess 2.5" in my far SW corner of Cville? Hopefully there is a spotter report near me. Family says 1.5" in Arlington.

    Might not end up mattering and hate to deb but NAM had a transition to snow down here before 4:00am with like 2” on the ground by 5:00 and that hasn’t borne out. I still think it’ll snow, but not sure the NAM has the best handle on this.
